Just had my first no heat last week, residential call on some high end Lennox 90%. Bad gas valve. My cost for the valve was $730 lol nuts!!! More then the stupid old smart valves if u remember those. 😂😂
Im actually surprised it wasn't the carryover tube or orifice...things are notorious for issues with them. I did read in a manual for those that the pilot gas pressure should be around 4"-5" WC. Great video as always Ryan
The customer only knows they don't have heat, so that's what the call is, we find all kinds of chaos when we service units.. customer only wants to know that they have heat, and it's safe. This is an excellent example of why you never ever bypass a safety, that roll out switch saved the day
@@MrDmadness yea that makes sense. I don’t take much a/c calls been in supermarket refrigeration service for a couple months. So everything is an emergency to them… This really did put things into perspective.

Almost all gv wc is around 3.5-5". Unless u up in the mountains.
