HVAC student here. I wished all teachers of this trade would take their time for us to learn and understand. The tech schools just give you the bare minimum to pass and still you don’t have much understanding of it. Great video. I have learned a lot from you than my school.
Tad, thank you for taking the time on explaining HVAC videos thoroughly. You’re a great instructor for me!!! Kudos brother!!! Thank you and God bless you! 🙏🏼Javy from Las Vegas, NV.
Hello, I love watching your videos. I went to hvac trade school. I got my G2 ticket. I didn’t learn much from the school, but I have learned from your videos. Would you be able to make a video on ac how to top up the low Freon. Thank you so much. Really appreciate your time and effort of making great videos. Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 😊
Great video man. I went through HVAC schooling in late 90's and worked for someone but didn't apply myself. Now, 27 years later I am in the field and having to learn a lot. Your videos have helped me out tremendously. Keep up the good work and videos. Thanks
I have no question, I just want to say thank you , I’m new hvac student and I’m from Atlanta. I think I watch all ur videos , ur video helps a lot bc of ur videos it makes hvac school a breeze 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻, when I make money and get my license I will give back to the community, 🤝
I like the patience and attention to details on components in order. Lotta guys jump around or right to the issues but not the cause. Wish I had access to tech tips like this when I started out. Keep em comin!
Hey man! Just want to say I’m on my 4th week as an hvac tech. This video has helped a ton and is such good info. Thank you for doing these videos! I’m learning a lot! Keep it up!
I have this same unit except mine is a 6 burner and this is by far the best information on TH-cam. I knew most of this information except for the limit switch and how to adjust a gas valve. I hope you do a video on exactly what to look for on checking a heat exchanger. I just had an elderly neighbor where the burners were not lighting up even though the inducer motor was coming on. I checked the pressure switch by using an ohm meter while putting suction on the tube (unplugged of course) and it was good. I kept sticking a drill bit back in the inducer motor's port to make sure it wasn't blocked but it still wasn't pulling suction. I finally took the inducer motor off and there was a large mud dauber nest that was apparently falling back down every time I took the drill bit out. I would never charge my neighbors for anything I can do to help. So these type videos really do help people out more than you know. Just subscribed.
I love the way you show in depth the trouble shooting and helping anyone out is differently rewarding when i did service work it was a great feeling helping people in need getting someone back in heat in the middle of a cold Wisconsin night is almost like a high!! if you haven't done it try it! Thanks for your videos
Great video! I’ve been working as a commercial tech for over a year now and mostly self taught. Your videos and a couple of other channels I watch have really helped me. Bravo!
You are supposed to apply pipe dope (thread sealant) over top of the Teflon Tape, and always leave the first two threads bare, especially on a sensitive component, such as a diaphragm gas valve.
I once had my gas heater not start some years ago with a pressure switch error. It turned out the port on the switch had a blockage. Since then, every October I put a straightened paper clip in the port to make sure it stays clear. I also keep a spare hot surface igniter and blower capacitor around in case I need them.
Great video where were you 25 years ago when I started working on HVAC equipment so glad to see a Vectren technician taking the time to show the Next Generation how to do it right appreciate you taking the time thank you
Wow… you’re very knowledgeable and excellent instructor. You’re helping me save some money for sure. For that reason, I am subscribed to your channel. Great job and keep up the work!
Thanks Taddy as always, for bringing us another great video. I wish you had a school here in Houston to take the training. Thanks to your videos I have done some maintenance here at my house and even replaced a faulty board, of course I follow safety first. You have no idea how much $$$ I have saved. Thank you sir and keep up the good work.
Thank you! It's har to find honest people now days.. Ps. I don't mind to pay but no days we get overcharged and lied about parts etc.. Thank you again!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge you are a honest person we have a service guy doing our hot water boiler in our condo building saying the set temperature is not holding and it shuts the boiler off I wonder what's wrong
Hello my brother tha ls for your video thanks to share ur knowledge it's the first do I watch ur video u are amazing ..q DIOS t bendiga a ti y ru Familia!!
Great video dude. I'm glad you addressed the drip leg because I was thinking it when you were taking the pipe off. Also I just use a paper clip to clean the orifices. I deal with a lot of propane and oil where I work. This video was good for me to watch because it keeps me aware of things to pay attention to and not to overlook since I do it so often.
Thank you for helping a person in need. Question about the configuration of the gas piping. The orientation of that tee is really doing nothing using the branch as a dirt leg. Correct ? Realize given what you had to work with that would have complicated things to redo. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
I brougth a conversion kit from the repair clinic, didn't have the propane pressure spring and can't find a new one I assume that they are the same on all propane gas valves? I like you video's and you seem to be a good down to earth person thanks for the information!
Boa Noite sou daqui do Brasil tira uma dúvida esta parte que faz o aquecimento do gás, não corre o risco de explosão quando for fazer brasagem? Parabéns

Great point!
@@adamshebel2320 some of it can get sniped off while threading the pipe in, which could cause a failure in the system.
No you don't have to apply thread sealant.
Thanks for sharing and helping the poor,❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ from New York.
