world class shooting right here folks ! Forget about the American king of 2 mile-mark puts them all to shame with a nearly 3 MILE hit! This is awesome, the skill and marksmanship involved in being able to actually hit a 24 x 24 inch target at 2.8 mile away is incredible to say the least. And of course the rifle and load development is also a the key factor in this.Well done Mark and Sam 👍👏

What a hell of a day, started out with a 5.7 magnitude earthquake in Salt Lake City. Then I watched this video of you guys shoot in that distance holy cow awesome. Not long after that the mailman showed up with the goodies I ordered from you guys. WOW! Very nice piece of hardware on the steel bearing block and rail👍 Half hour later after drilling and tapping it fits perfect on my 50 BMG. Thank you guys for the great videos and all you do for the shooting community!!

incredible . My greatest respect for the difficulty you add in trying to reach a small target here, it must be about 1/4 MOA at this distance? The series of five shots grouped and just hallucinating. we can see that your is a humble pair in this field, that you do it out of pleasure and you do not take the big head...bravo again, you will get there . @@markandsamafterwork Thanks for your reply. Actually, now I think about it - can the end of a ballistic trajectory ever be more than 45deg's? The ideal being 45deg to start (discount wind, +/- elevation of target etc)?? I am thinking not?
Also - the orientation of the bullet isn't necessarily the same as the ballistic path of the bullet. Even if it isn't tumbling it might be nose down when it hits the target...
      My brain is hurting...

@@markandsamafterwork Beautiful shooting and it was really just only unlucky that there was no hit. I myself understand that the hit is the main goal, even if the journey itself and the result is no less exciting for the viewer. Regarding extreme impact angles, I made this video for airgun at 1550 yards. Of course I understand if you want to delete this link from your channel. I just think it's pretty well explained here, even is primaly for airgun shooting th-cam.com/video/djGXsvKUhaM/w-d-xo.html

Fires rifle. Goes for a cup of coffee. Returns later to watch bullet hit target.
