world class shooting right here folks ! Forget about the American king of 2 mile-mark puts them all to shame with a nearly 3 MILE hit! This is awesome, the skill and marksmanship involved in being able to actually hit a 24 x 24 inch target at 2.8 mile away is incredible to say the least. And of course the rifle and load development is also a the key factor in this.Well done Mark and Sam 👍👏
Extremely impressive guys , the whole process to get that level of accuracy is not just about pulling the trigger , you guys demonstrate the complete package , the prep , reloading , data and rifle craft first class, truly big thumbs up from your followers in the UK ELR
This guy is a completely different type of shooter ever to exist! Holy hell. Why isn't his name behind or on every decent long range firearm... and youtube blows he should have over 500k subs!!!
What a hell of a day, started out with a 5.7 magnitude earthquake in Salt Lake City. Then I watched this video of you guys shoot in that distance holy cow awesome. Not long after that the mailman showed up with the goodies I ordered from you guys. WOW! Very nice piece of hardware on the steel bearing block and rail👍 Half hour later after drilling and tapping it fits perfect on my 50 BMG. Thank you guys for the great videos and all you do for the shooting community!!
You two are perhaps the best ever. I love how much fun you still have, and are still so good and detailed in the process. Learned so much from the channel and just love what you do!!
Yall have inspired and taught me so much. I do ELR with airguns. In ballistic terms, it's quite relative. I'm only doing 1-200 yards most of the time. The drop and dope I have to use is like a .308 @ 2500 yards, if you know what I mean.
Love the fact you can just hear the 'pop' of the rifle a couple of seconds before the bullet arrives in frame. Where I live there would be two villages in that distance great to watch as something completely and utterly different. More power to your projectile Mate, from the UK.
That was incredible. I was able to watch you pull the trigger, go to the kitchen and get a sandwich and some chips, and be back in time to see the impact. Great work.
Phenomenal shooting. You had that target bracketed within four inches on every six or seven last shots, and being just a few feet away on your first shot was amazing. It took me twenty minutes to get my jaw off the floor after watching this.
This video is awesome 👌 👏. Cannot imagine the time behind the scenes that it takes to get to this point. Rifle build, load development, everything has to be top notch 👌 👏 👍
5,023, just another number. Watching the distance as your drone moves up and away from the plate, 5,023 now means something to the viewer. Almost 3 miles and your placing rounds within feel of it... Jeez, I take my hat off to you guys, that's just some insane shooting!
With that bullet flight path, you could put a target directly behind your standing target that is laying flat on the ground, and it would have been a hit! Proving again that the bullet flies just like a perfectly thrown football. Excellent rerun!
I am amazed to say the least... Ive never shot an actual gun just air rifles standing through iron sights on about 40 meters and that was tough for me.... But 5023 yards... That is over 4.5 km holy shit! Even if you didnt hit the target... The fact that you guys got so close shows that you two are working together like a fine tuned clockwork 😊
I struggle to quantify these distances even with the drone clip. I went on google maps and used the measurment feature to pin 5000 yards from my home. Yup, thats all the way across town. Theres a small mountian between here and there. Incredibly, the bullet trajectory would clear the mountian if you could see through it. You guys are gifted.
It is unbelievable to see how accurate u can be. If the target is little bit bigger in all directions almost all shots were the hits. But still immpresive shooting on that distance. Perfect equipments and excellent shooter 👏 Many greetings from Slovakia
Even with no impact, this is a stunning string of shooting! Really unbelievable what the w of you can do! I was really hoping you would get to make a attempt at it again this year... o well, I have no doubt if you get the conditions next year... it will be a done deal!
I couldn't hit the side of the QE2 at 5 klicks - assuming of course I could even see the damn ship.. doubtful.. The flight time on them rounds is insane. That's some serious shooting Mark.
If your 24”x 24” steel plate target was the dimensions of a human the mission would have been completed several times, some being head shots! Amazing shooting and awesome spotting, thanks for the video and all the best!
Blimey mate, that was great shooting. Just tell me though, is it legal to shoot from one state to another in Oz? lol. Where next, across to Tazzie or NZ?? And the flight time too. Takes out the case, read the headlines over a cup of tea, check the scope.....any second now.....Ooh, just over the top!!!
incredible . My greatest respect for the difficulty you add in trying to reach a small target here, it must be about 1/4 MOA at this distance? The series of five shots grouped and just hallucinating. we can see that your is a humble pair in this field, that you do it out of pleasure and you do not take the big head...bravo again, you will get there . I am super-happy with the adjustable bag I order from you;)
@@markandsamafterwork Just thought I would have you understand. My dad held a No.8. 22 rifle for me when I was 4 yrs old shooting tins. I went on to represent the Queens Own Highlanders at Bisley. We were good at it, won the match several times. I am STILL a rifleman. Impressed with your style cobbers.

Absolute joy to watch, the fact that you are putting rounds in the vicinity at 5020 yards is a feat unto itself.

Pop is the second sound barrier as bullet slows, really can not hear the rifle, but if you could it would well after the bullet, Cheers
Mark pulls trigger.
Sam makes lunch, does some book work, drives some errands, comes back.
"right, 2 targets, wow that was close"

yeah the opening drone flight path shows just how far it is, awesome work.
The drone footage is awesome! These distances are mind blowing and it would be very hard to appreciate the distance without the drone.

At that distance getting that close to the target was impressive.

if you listen carefully mark actually did hit the target once and then the chain holding the target.
Getting consistent hits/grouping near a target that far shows how precision that rifle and bullet set up really is
Wow! All I can say is you two are inspirational!
