@@coryburns834 at 2 miles, and this sort of visibility probably get a few off before the deer 🦌 is clear or you are still causing some mild concern/disruption to the oppfor
So... Thanks for the detailed explanation. Particularly the part that it is (was) a factory action and barrel. Lets me know that the issues I am having at 300 yards with my factory Remington 700 are probably behind the gun and not in it! And, thanks for all of your amazing videos. You are an amazing team!
I just a new fierce 300 win mag with a 26 inch barrel topped with a night force 5.5x22x56 and hatch bipod cant wait to start shooting it and get it all dialed in for my up coming hunts! Thanks for the videos!
The drone shot(I'm assuming) from the targets point of view to the shooter, absolutely mind blowing! That is a long distance and cool as hell!! Your a stud! Well done!
Nice shooting as always. That factory barrel has earned its place on the mantle! I use the USO level’s on a few of my rigs as well. It’s built solid and has stood up to some abuse but I learned the hard way to always double check things. Scope level to the gun, bubble on the rail said level, but things weren’t adding up. I was always having to hold for more left wind than everyone else shooting with me. Found out there was some discrepancy between a level scope and what the bubble was telling me was level. Lesson learned, always check the reticle to a plumb line! Cheers!
Just watched your 3617 yards with 300 WIN mag again love it.I hope you guys are safe away from the terrible fire down there. We are watching and your in our prayers.

Its interesting that HK mentions nothing on break in for their barrel? I think it best to error on the side of caution and run a good procedure on it for its first time out! Watching you shoot sure makes me want to stretch things out a bit further than a click Mark! Great shooting and you are great at bringing us mortals back to reality with every clip you and Sam put out! Thanks

We don't have that sort of equipment, and don't like to mess with the shooters form for this extreme precision shooting, lot easier done on an air rifle or hunting set up, Cheers and all the best.
I have no problem at 700 yards . Crappy ammo was skimming the 1000 yard. Now I have a bigger rifle. Both.300 win mag. I'm going back for the mile at thunder valley. This shot is insane. Hats off for even attempting it.
Well, I think I could land a bullet in the field... However, I'd likely melt the barrel before I got lucky enough to even get close to that plate! Mark, That was a great demonstration of marksmanship, Holy Cow!

Mark in ur opinion what is the max range u can shoot the 300 at estimate ??also what bullets I have 1:12 twist 36in barrel which bullets would suit this thanks
As you can see in the video, the 300wm can shooter further than most people have the skill or area to shoot, that rifle is a target/F class set up to suit lighter bullets, made for shooting 1000 to 1200 yards, Cheers

What's your thoughts: 1) long range shooting soft and hard targets ! 2) money not a problem! 3) which round does it better from zero to 2,000 7mag Vs 300win mag
I wan't do do my first 1000yds, question for you... 6.5mm CM or 300 WM? I don't have any of these rifles, I have .22-250 Rem, 243 win, 308 win. All for hunting, but I want to ring some steel at 1000yds, not easy in the UK...
@@markandsamafterwork Made a hell of a lot of sense, I guess some of it comes down to affordability.. a decent 300 cal bullet in the states costs $1, here in the UK it costs £5 or $6... so a Lapua 338 is not affordable to us poor mortals to be reloading. Because we are so limited in England, 1000 yds is probably all I can get on any of my permissions & ranges are pathetic, so I have learnt a lot from your comments. I guess what I want is to shoot a gnats knackers at 1000yds and it's not achievable... strange, I'm also tuning my .22LR, horses for courses you seem to be saying and its absolutely correct. Do you find that some ammo performs better at extreme distance than at average long range shooting ? I mean like the ammo stabilizes at a longer range so it won't shoot as well at short ranges like 100yrds but out performs the ammo that shoots a tight group at 100 yards for instance at extended range? I like the flap at the top of the mat to hold the bipod legs. What brand mat is that or did you have that sewn in? I can't find any with the flap like that.
What rifle are you using for this shot and let's say I had a Benelli Lupo or a Browning BLR in .300 wnmag (24 in barrel) and tried this, would it work and why not if it wouldn't?
I’m getting ready to load me some 150gr Nosler Accubonds in a couple days for my 300 Winchester magnum. I won’t be shooting shots like this but I’m goin to try the 1,000 yard range soon
Mark, out of curiosity can you tell me what kind of foot pounds of energy that bullet has at that distance (3617yds)??? I also have a .300 win mag & ABSOLUTELY love it, they farthest I'm able to shoot it here is around 1600yds, and I love they groups I get with it, 11.85" groups, not bad for a TOTALLY factory rig. Savage 111 LRH,long range hunter, heavy barrel - muzzle brake & Hornandy 208gr A-Max hand loads. Thanks Mark, and keep them videos coming.
This is why my .300 Win Mag is my favorite rifle. It will reach out and touch someone with POWER at the contact point. I can hit you long before you even know I’m anywhere around.

awesome team ..
Stay bless
Thanks Man, glad you liked, Cheers
I like the flap at the top of the mat to hold the bipod legs. What brand mat is that or did you have that sewn in? I can't find any with the flap like that.
Yes we did that our selves, Cheers
Beautiful....thank you for making this and how you filmed it. I do the same with my drone and gopro cameras🤘🏼
Cheers
What rifle are you using for this shot and let's say I had a Benelli Lupo or a Browning BLR in .300 wnmag (24 in barrel) and tried this, would it work and why not if it wouldn't?
All details listed below video, on other, we have many videos that explain many details, Cheers
I’m getting ready to load me some 150gr Nosler Accubonds in a couple days for my 300 Winchester magnum. I won’t be shooting shots like this but I’m goin to try the 1,000 yard range soon
Awesome, Cheers
Superb Shooting Fundamentals........
Cheers Larry, thanks
Love the shooter view, that way I can pretend that I am shooting.
Cheers
Shooter's view at 1:55
Think you could make this shot if you were shooting upward, or even on even ground?
No difference at that angle, needs to be more than 5 deg to make a diffidence, Cheers
Either way, impressive shooting. Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧🇦🇺🙂👍
Cheers Barry, thanks
Where about a in Oz are you guys?
York, Western Australia. Cheers
That was AWESOME, and amazing both at the same time!!!
Cheers
Mark, out of curiosity can you tell me what kind of foot pounds of energy that bullet has at that distance (3617yds)???
I also have a .300 win mag & ABSOLUTELY love it, they farthest I'm able to shoot it here is around 1600yds, and I love they groups I get with it, 11.85" groups, not bad for a TOTALLY factory rig. Savage 111 LRH,long range hunter, heavy barrel - muzzle brake & Hornandy 208gr A-Max hand loads.
Thanks Mark, and keep them videos coming.
Thanks Jerry, approx 320 ft-lb's by the maths, Cheers
This is why my .300 Win Mag is my favorite rifle. It will reach out and touch someone with POWER at the contact point. I can hit you long before you even know I’m anywhere around.
Cheers
I seen deer hunters use it for 75 yard shots
My .300 weatherby is pretty good too!!! But it kicks so HARD!!! After 3 or 4 shots my shoulder is pissed, owwww!!!
Where do I get that type of muzzle brake?
Similar to the one we sell on our store, link below, Cheers
Damm that travel time i love it!!!!!
Cheers
G'day!
I love watching the videos! I'm just wondering the twist you are running with the 230's? Is the Remington standard at 1 in 10?
Cheers!
Yep, Cheers
Great Video. Thanks
Cheers
