The battery locker on the van was showing its age, gave it a spruce up using The Pink Stuff. I used the wet and dry on the battery locker surround in an attempt to reduce the marking.
Cut down the detail brush to make it stiffer while at the same time it does not cause scratching as bristles are still soft....... if that makes sense, that is scratching on the surrounding paint work
Hi Colin, we've used Pink Stuff for a few years, it's good stuff. Silky is also a good product for doing this kind of job. Van is looking good mate. cheers
Hi Colin. That pink stuff is fantastic on faded plastic. Shame it didn't get it all off the battery box, mate. Don't put the toothbrush back in the bathroom without a good rinse 😂 cheers Colin.
White spirit and a tooth brush is by far the best stuff to use on plastic and especially the seals/sealant, been using it for 20+ years. Apply it and allow it to soak for a few seconds then lightly rub with the tooth brush, repeat if necessary until pure white.
Hello Colin, The Pink Stuff certainly brings out the white in the plastic and smartened the caravan up 👍. Cheers Rob
Thanks for watching Rob, yes it’s very effective on the plastic, cheap too. 🍻

Hi Colin. I replied earlier but it didn't save? Great job. I use Elbow Grease cleaner on yellow plastic and really works. Thanks Phil🙂👍
Cheers Phil I saw your earlier post 😁👍

Thanks for watching Martin, I try to keep it looking tidy, it’s a big old thing to detail. 🍻
I painted my Truma flaps and covers with Plastikote white spray paint, they now look like new and no more yellowing
Good idea and a quality paint for plastic 👍
