Hi. My van is hardly old but it is what it is. This solution worked and all is now well. I do watch your channel. Good luck with your New Tow Vehicle decision. The New Car Tax will be the killer. thanks Phil.👍🙂
Good video Phil I did the whole of my dull caravan with this product 2 years ago and it's still shiny, nothing else came close. Best product ever, although a bit pricy. 👍
Another good video, always worth going to your channel on a Sunday morning. My last caravan had a dull front which I meant to attend to. Seeing what you are using it’s given me food for thought for the future. Keep the videos coming.
Looks a good rejuvenating product Phil. Satisfyingly smooth and shiny again 👍. Gail says food grade carnauba wax was used to coat mint imperials when she worked at Trebor. Best regards, Rob & Gail 😀
I had the same problem with my Elddis Avante 2006 model; masked off, quick rub over with scotchbrite pad, denibbed with tacky wipe and 5 coats of celly from my Iwata 400 gun, came up a treat, no polishing needed ;)
Hi Phil, thanks for the info on this video - I just wondered how you feel about the product now its been applied a while? Would you still recommend it and how has it weathered over the last few months?... once again, thanks for all the wonderful and helpful advice to a caravanning newbie like me.
Hi Andy. That is a great question. We have thrown all sorts of weather and heat at it. It has held up quite well. When I clean it I do put a coat of polish on it and it comes up really nice and lasts well. I would say that it has been the best product that I have tried so far. I know other subscribers have tried it are happy with it. One bloke used it and it helped him get a better price when he PX'd it. Hope this helps. Phil. 🙂👍
Thanks Phil. This is very relevant to me ! 👍 My previous 2020 GRP Freedom caravan had disappointingly gone very dull. I got the gloss back by applying Meguiars Ceramic polish with a Halfords electric polisher and the. finishing it off with Autoglym. The results were outstanding. In fact it looked better than when I got it two years earlier 👌
Hi yeah they do say that. How ever caravan dealers have using it for years. So it’s up to you really. I have hadn’t any issues with it at all. Hope that helps you. Thanks Phil 🙂👍
Great video Phil 👍 I done mine two years ago but needs doing again 👎 can I ask how your getting on with brakes ? I need to bite the bullet and get mine done. Do you get alko drums and brakes or a different brand ? Thanks. Carl
Hi Carl. Thanks. Have you watched my Brakes video. th-cam.com/video/OIw8XIaX118/w-d-xo.html If you have, since changing them they are working much better and little or no squealing. They only squeal after it has been sat a while but this goes. Thanks Phil.🙂👍
@@lostweekendscaravan yes I did watch the video Phil 👍 I knew it was a while back so just wanted to see if the problem has been solved. Mine are really annoying and hate it when I go through little lovely villages in wales 😂 thanks again 👍
Thanks Carl. They were worth changing. Just be mindful the brakes shoes could have damaged the Drums. The drums are not cheap (about £400) as they house the vans wheel bearings. Good luck and let me know how you get on if you have it done. Cheers Phil🙂
Can work, but as manufacturer says, DO NOT use on white surfaces. You will fall into a heap of problems if your surface does not like this product. It's very difficult to get off, especially if your not a pro. I like this product for restoring faded black bumpers, pvc composite doors, but not as a gel coat restorer and definitely not for caravans/ motor homes.
Hi. Thanks for your comment. Most Dealers use this product on Caravans. It has worked for me. I was wondering if you have your own solution for this issue and if so could you share it so I can perhaps record a video on it. I will mention your in it as well. Thanks Phil.👍🙂
had this issue on our old caravan , hard to cure, keep up the good work

Good video Phil

Hi Martin. Thanks remember make sure the roof is clean before using. Phil👍🙂
Hi, just read the manufacturers instructions for the product which says not to be used on white panels ! am I missing something? cheers

Hi Phil can this be used on the rear panel
Hi Phil. Yes it can but you need to apply in overlaping sections as you go. Many Thanks Phil👍🙂
Good vlog, but consider a DA polisher. Drill can be a bit harsh."
Hi Thanks I did mention this. I am in the process of trying to find a good one at a good price, wish me luck😂. Thanks for Watching. Phil🙂👍
Hi Phil nice job, could you pop round and do mine please 😁👍
Morning Colin. I didn't know you were up. I think i'll let you have a go. Thanks Phil.👍🙂
