I just stumbled on this today randomly. I loved their popular songs in the 90s, but never dug deeper. What a fucking incredible band. They sound UNBELIEVABLE live. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a band able to reproduce the recorded sound of an album so well. But at the same time they bring so much more than just faithful versions of their songs. They add an insane amount of energy and hilarity all throughout their set. They didn’t even seem to mind people joining them onstage because they could tell that the audience was made up of REAL fans. They are all 3 INCREDIBLE musicians as well. The drummer is phenomenal. That’s a challenging style because they have SO MANY hard stops where all 3 are in perfect sync. He gives the music a lot of its energy. The guitar player obviously fucking shreds. I love the part bass/part guitar thing that the lead singer has going on as well. Don’t know exactly what his setup is there, but there’s enough bass to fill out the songs and help them sound like it’s a 5 piece band, but he also plays some guitar parts with it as well, all while putting his fucking heart and soul into every second of the show. Unbelievable stuff.
I loved their pop songs from the early days too, I was like 14 or so when these guys hit the airwaves w/ Lump and Peaches. I didn't dig deep back them, but I did about 5 or 6 years ago and they are in my top 3 favorite bands (I dont believe in having a "favorite" band...there's just too much out there to actually have a favorite, but..I can realy say that POTUSA are right there in my top 3) Rock on!🤘
Didn't they used to play a medley in the middle of the set around this time?? Or was that just NYC? I assumed... Like, did I see some special show or something.... I believe they played major rock radio staples and anthems like don't stop believing but they also played all the cheesy chud like baby one more time and wannabe too.... anyone? Or... we're we just "special"?
This are the greatest kickass Band of the 90s .ith minnisets making so sweet waves.😊❤

Apparently Paradiso still has the same atmosphere of lights that was in 1991
Hard to say what it's like these days. This was 2006.
