Kobayan Can't Stop Winning

It's time to watch the start of the Topanga Championship Finals. In the group stage, Kobayan was doing crazy work, finishing with a 6-2 record against the best players in Japan. Now, he faces off against the players that made it out of the other groups in a longer set format. Today, we're watching him fight Momochi's Ed and Kakeru's Akuma. For some reason, Kobayan, can't seem to stop winning.

2:32 Ed does indeed, have a slow reversal.
Zangief has NO reversal until level 3, and everyone and their pet chipmunk is always lookin' for it when the number 3 pops.

@@cheeks_of_the_boreal_valleylevel 2 is a reversal but it has an 18 frame start up. As long as you use a light attack it can’t hit you on wakeup. Only catches throws and DI. You can even jump it on reaction cause the hit box doesn’t cover his head.

the evidence is right there. gief is good/viable, kobayan is a freak. if he's is top 1 then giefs skill ceiling is outrageous otherwise he'd be cleaning up evo. that not downplaying, that's just keeping it a stack

@Glickstick That's our point. Gief is now a functioning, viable character but he isn't this Top 3 threat that ppl want him to be. Definitely a menace, but takes a certain dog to pilot him to extreme success.
