I do the Ajo with my colleagues at work we all work for NHS and we know each other..and it's perfect..
Yes.. perfect among colleagues
Congratulations! But invest money for interest. Make your money work for you. There are high interest savings accounts in the UK.
Osusu in Bini dialect
@@FloFinance yes I know
@@FloFinancewe have been doing it for 15 years , nobody ran away. Most of us it as deposit for buying our house.
I love your channel. Ajoh is still not a bad idea, only try to do it with people you know, not people you meet online. Have been doing it with the same group of people since 2019.the Co ordinator knows every one which makes it safe.FGN bond is amazing too, but is the interest as per Roi matching the rate of high inflation we are experiencing due to continued devaluation of the naira. Ajoh in dollars might be far stable than FGN bond ,I think .just my opinion.
My challenge on the FGN bond is getting and paying a stockbroker as you explained in the previous video
Welldone sis., it is against the islamic teachings and rulings to join or partake in anything that has interest .
Thank you for the video. Ill definitely open one
Thanks for this information.
Bye and thank you ma
Bless you mama ❤️
Thank you so much❤❤
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you for that video. I have invested 2ce on govt bonds
We do it in Suriname South America to
Like anything in life, people must take what they want and discard what they don’t want. Ajo/Susu etc. works for some and have done for many years. Flo is stating that you can make your money work harder for you, if you choose to! It’s a choice. 👏🏽
Flo, you're marvelously becoming more beautiful everyday; what's going on?
Thanks always, Flo 👏🏼
In hausa language - it's called Adashe.
Daalu.
@@FloFinance in swahili we call it UPATU
Greetings fellow comrades.
In my opinion, Adashe has more merits than demerits.
It works on trust just like any other business around the world.
One of the biggest benefit of Adashe is that resources is pulled without you bringing collateral or paying interest.
I have seen people use it secure property.
Selection criteria deployed in choosing people as members is the most important.
When you do it with colleagues at work place reduces risk.
Anuty Flo, in my opinion, there's nothing inherently wrong with the practice, afterall it's better than g@®bling on the stock market, which breeds greed, among several issues. Let's us not shame our people for preserving ancestrial practices. Also, how secure are those bonds? Especially in an unregulated market like NG?
Edit: better yet, we're better off teaching people how to excerise caution when setting up these groups/investments, including how to formate legal agreements setting out individual expectations etc.
Shame who? I said there's a BETTER way. Biko keep preserving your ancestral practices ooo. There's no amount of caution you will exercise with people that are dubious in nature. If you don't have hot tears to cry, stay away from ajo. Exercise caution kó.
😊
A very good registered cooperative helps... i save with one at an interest rate and you get your money when you need it with a 2weeks notice.
You can invest in some treasury bills and bonds from some bank app
My dear a lot are still doing it ooo. My immediate elder sister is on this table. Am tired of talking to her about it. Let me just forward this video to her to see if it will convince her.
Missing big time...
School will never teach U this!
Anty Flo, kindly recommend a good stockbroker. Many thanks for all you do.
Strongly support your idea, I will urge aunty flo to mention genuine stock broker , I think that's the best thing.
Meeting generally
Ngwanu, let's go for it guard me step by step
Flo, what stockbroker are you using?
Heloo Flo , Please kindly update some of us on Treasury bill on how to go about it. Thank you
O yes, please - we'll appreciate it, Flo 👏🏼
We call it lera.
This cooperating also has an app for easy deposit and monitoring of account.
Im doing Treasury Bills shaa cos Im uncertain about my long term plans for now ..Thanks for your video.....
How are you doing that please. I need to start somewhere
You're quite right. I've fallen victim of this esusu/ajo/adashe one two occasions at different organisations. I joined out of sentiment and I suffered the kwansikwenses 😂😂😂
Ndo! 😭
I know many who are doing it in the US when there are banks paying 5% interest currently! I just have the amount I want to to save monthly automatically transferred to a high interest savings account and collect my 5 % interest every year !! Some people lack discipline as you stated and need this system to make them accountable !
It's baffling that someone who has the discipline to contribute to monthly isusu does not have the discpline to set up a one-time direct debit to a high interest account like you did. I believe it's ignorance because even if the interest is small, it is better than the zero interest in ajo.
Long live Ajo !!!
It's called Adashe in Hausa ❤
Thank you so much for this video. I don't know why I don't even like osusu right from the beginning, just feel I'll be scammed based on those I've seen it happened to around me.
It has happened so many times, more often than not.
Ajo is not limited to Nigerians, though. My Caribbean colleagues here in NYC call it susu and it comes with its dose of drama. I don't do it for the reasons you highlighted.
This is my first time hearing this and tell you what? I am not surprised. The Caribbean people are our brothers and sisters after all. And see, they also call it a name similar to what it is known as in some parts of Nigeria. Chai o! Thanks for this information.
In Hausa it is called Adashi.
Adashe in hausa language
Nothing will make me stop doing Ajo, I do it with my colleagues. It has really help me.
Mama flo thanks for your update but, I don't trust Nigerian banks I lost over five million naira in 2004 with Futune bank Ltd, situated along airport road Warri delta state, if you ask me I will prefer to keep my money in my bed room.
Ah, was that a case of a distressed bank?
Recommend a stock broker please
Most times you get less than what you put in because the Susu manager will take a cut
Tell me about it. I don't ajo
You can always do Ajo, collect your own and invest it in high interest investment for a short or long duration
Stocks in Nigeria! I will rather do my Ajo with iya chinedu and mama sikira.
Really! Stock brokers in Nigeria? Am out here, bro!
Thank you
But i don't want interest in my life
Oha in Igbo
Many of the osusu/ contributions pay interest now. I contributed 300k in teachers osusu for one year and was given 320k ie 20k interest and had money for Christmas
i just use a pdf editor for my form , just chage date and amount for each month.
That's the way. Change only the date, amount (if necessary) and the signature.
AIT you dey prepared for this FGN Savings Bond streak. Keep it up! Remember me in your paradise when the maga starts paying ooo. 😂
Am interested My sister please help me
Assuming you already have a stock broker, what's the next step.
Contact them and tell them you want to invest in FGN Savings Bond. They will tell you what to do.
It only makes sense if youre the first or second person aside that there is no gain to ajo considering the risk if someone escapes with the money
That no-gain part pains me special 😭 because if one has the discipline to do ajo, why can't the person send the same money to an investing account on a monthly basis and earn something from it, eh? These people no like good thing? Chai ooo!
They might still be doing it in village, the last i saw that was 1997 😂😂 i don't know of it now
Mmh read comments o, they even do it in obodo oyibo.

I wish to get someone that can put me true, I'm really interested ma,am just hearing about it for the first time today please help 🙏
I have done ajo for over 30 years with people I know and no one ran away with my money. I have invested money and lost ,so don't criticise a system that has its own advantage. Why will the person run away
Ajo is as old,or even older than the banking system, bur ket me listen to your video first
Aunty i love all your vidos, please can you recommend a stockbroker for me
Different stockbrokers have different minimum requirements. Watch the video in the description box to choose one based on your investment capabilities.

Nice one, however by considering the inflation rate in Nigeria, you will notice that saving bond is not a good idea because your capital will depreciate. So what can you say about this ma ?
I made 2 videos addressing the inflation concerns when we started this series because that was the word on a lot of people's lips. Watch the following:
1. th-cam.com/video/0tAEPmI7UxA/w-d-xo.html
2. th-cam.com/video/ezWyPZR74Mk/w-d-xo.html
There's even a third video comparing this to those that said that saving in dollars is better. Watch: th-cam.com/video/P_1uqsIttpE/w-d-xo.html
I also shared my one fear: th-cam.com/video/uxUd1_gCjck/w-d-xo.html
Any fear about this, we have discussed it on this channel. Enjoy!
@@FloFinance Thanks ma, I like the idea of focusing on the figure as it is growing. For those who invest in big amount. I think inflation should not be a problem. Thanks for encouragement and for the video. God bless you
Ajo is good. Our Nigerian financial system is unsafe. Trusted friends do it and it has helped a lot with their children's fees and solving other problems. Interests you said ? Fake! Banks today keep charging for what we dont know. POS handlers will charge, banks will charge.
Continue investing in your ajo in peace but what I will not tolerate is you causing confusion here by shamelessly making ignorant comments on subjects you know nothing about. What has bank and POS charges got to do with investing in FGN Bonds? Feeling funky on top knowledge gap.
These are people following your channel. Do not abuse them. Talking about being knowledgeable...If you were that smart , you will not abuse the subscriber .Everyone must not agree with your opinion. Kindly be civil. I notice you usually have something not nice to reply whoever has a different take from yours. That subscriber did not question your own knowledge gap. It is not nice replying her like that.
@@adakupeters8535 you sat down and read all her responses? that's stalking.
You do Ajo with the people you know not with online people. Investment in Nigeria can sometimes be a scam. Guys bear in mind people get paid to use their page/platform to advertise their, therefore think twice before you invest your hard earned money
Flo, good job,Federal government need to pay you and me some commission o. I called this FGN bond and Tb free interest money lolz .
Tell them my brother. 😂 Thank you.
My problem is that I don't trust Nigerian banks😢
They can't do anything to you unless you allow them.
It is called susu or Adashe in Hausa
Adashi in hausa
I fear this ajo like MMM.
It is called Adashi in Hausa language 😅
Please another Business idea......Nigeria people can not be trusted with money in Nigeria including my father mother brother sister or good friends relatives or any one in Nigeria...........I have spend 21 years in abroad and I know what I am talking about, not just only by my experience................many people here in abroad will tell you the same.........Even federal government can not be trusted in Nigeria............You forget very easily they politicians.........I will trust federal government only when they fulfilled all their campaigns promises
Hausa is ADASHE
Ajo is still the best. You failed to mention that any member of the group could get required fund ahead if you are slated to collect at an earlier time.
These investment interest you talk about is next to nothing in the short term.
They are only beneficial in the Long Run. So your information is inadequate

Please can you suggest a good stockbroker to help me invest in fgn savings bond.
Download Afrinvest 2.0. That's what i use since i came across this woman's teaching. But you can still check out others, though
Afrinvest got your back. They have a mobile app and a website, and good customer services
Can you recommend a stock broker. Is it possible to use bamboo app ?
Yes, it can be done on an app BUT it must be on the BANK'S app...not on a random app....send a private chat or just Google. You will.need to register with the bank (not an individual). Always remember, security first
You need a licenced stockbroker to invest in FGN Savings Bonds. Banks cannot do it independently. I can share a Licenced stockboker if you are interested. Kindly put a chat across.
Ajo, sounds like garlic in Spanish 😂
😂 Same spelling but different pronunciations. Ajo (garlic) is pronounced aho.
Lol. Same pronunciation in heaven.
Ajo is Hausa
ADASHE IN HAUSA 😂
