Can I use it for vertical shooting on a desk?
Yes definitely 👍🏼 the ball head allows you to turn the camera vertically even when it’s on a desk.
Is it compatible with Insta360 Ace Pro with additional mini J-Hook Adapter?
Thats a great question. I am not familiar with Insta360 products. Maybe someone here in the comments / community can help answer this.

There are a few different quick release buckles that you can get from GoPro. I’m using the “quick release mid” or “ vertical mounting buckle” as a GoPro calls it.. it comes with accessories like the media mod and it’s a bit taller than the quick release buckle that comes with the GoPro
gopro 3 way 2.0 vs ulanzi MT-16 ?
That’s a great question… although I have not used the Ulanzi, I can say that it looks a bit cheap and unrefined. I’m sure it would do fine, but my main consideration would be the warranty… consider this: if your mount were to break and you loose the GoPro, then the company GoPro would not be willing to consider replacing your camera if using the Ulanzi… if you were using the GoPro 3-way and there was a defect, then GoPro would consider replacing both the camera and mount.
Can the joints be disconnected? For example I only want to use half of it and connect it to the handlebar mount.

The 3-Way 2.0 with its lanyard weighs 245g. - The3-way 2.0 with lanyard, GoPro Hero11 Black + battery, quick release buckle and thumbscrew weighs 430g

Yes thank you for saying it’s waterproof I searched up if the 3 way 2.0 was waterproof like ten times and none of the videos said it was I even searched on google and it didn’t say anything

Great question! And thank you for the comment! I would suggest the 3-way 2.0 simply because the max grip is more specific to the GoPro Max and shooting 360 content. It will work with a hero nine but the 3- way 2.0 is going to be more versatile in a lot more scenarios

Do you have to use the quick release snap head? Just bought a gopro and can't seem to find this attachment
For this particular 3-way mount, you will need to use the provided quick release buckle to attach. The previous 3-way mount did not require the quick release. Let me k ow if you have any other questions or need help

Can I use it to record my bike rides
It may be able to especially if you mount it on your backpack or if you use the tripod and ride past the camera, but it may be hard to hold the mount in your hand and bike at the same time

Unfortunately this is not designed for iPhone or any smartphone. The quick release base is specifically for GoPro mounts
