These actresses really knew their craft, look at their body language even without the need of dialogue: - Blanche when she realizes the man is Merrill. - Sophia while she is afraid of Merrill and sits with Dorothy. - Dorothy's walk of shame at the end! - How Rose's face lights up when she knows that Dorothy used her story.
We never saw Mary before Like n the Empty Nests episode in season 2 with Rita Moreno they acted like they would hang out but we never saw it. We heard more about the Donaldsons (who we never actually saw) than Mary or Renee and George I loved Dorothy resorting to a St Olaf story and the Merrill B plot 😂
Mary was played by Julie McCullough. Even though she is portraying a 16 year old teen she was in fact 24 at the time of filming. McCullough is best known as playing Julie Costello in Growing Pains. McCullough was also Playboy magazine’s Playmate of the Month February 1986.
I love this episode. It has such a good message and is so funny. However it has always bothered me that the baby's father is relieved of any responsibility. Just because they broke up and he is at college doesn't mean he isn't responsible to Mary and the baby.
I know its not saying very much but the fact that Merrill shows virtually no interest in Mary - even when ransacking the house and after tying up an old woman - would indicate he at least has SOME standards anyway...
That's especially lucky considering that had - god forbid - Merrill actually done anything to Mary it likely would have led to a miscarriage. Then the ep would have become VERY dark...
Notice how easily the father of the baby was dismissed. That’s an annoying aspect to this episode because no matter how young you are the father should at the very least be told that he’s a father

The way Blanche jumped from the couch after realizing Merrill is there is just priceless 😂.
She was about to hit him on him before realizing who he was LOL
This was one of the funniest episodes. I love this show
Every time I read the title, I always think, "Mary had a little lamb, its fleece was NOT so white as snow." XD
Dan Quayle was the 44th Vice President of the United States.

I love this episode! Great reaction, Alexxa.
Blanche's ego, got the best of her: 'she's gorgeous 4x & stupid 4x' 😂
Sophia: 'look Moose.'
Dorothy and Merrill: 'what?' 😆
This episode has some of the funniest moments.😂😂 I was waiting for the -I was desperate! moment 😂
N "I just had a thought" was sooo good 🤌😂

This was a funny episode, especially Dorothy telling the St. Olaf story.

"16 year old teen" is redundant. 😂😂

you laugh hard in this episode ❤
GG had a lot of George Bush and Dan Quale jokes in many episodes.

Huh! I never even noticed that! Thanks for pointing that out. x3
