I remember riding this ride at night, and literally at the drop, the grand finale for the fireworks began, and that was the ONLY time I had my eyes open during that drop. I will never forget it. That night was magical.
me and my family have learned if you ride it during the fireworks there is no line so you can ride it over and over again and watch part of the fireworks! Best feeling going down that drop during the fireworks 😌🥰

It's so crazy that I'm watching this at 27 years old and I'm still blown away. I've been on Splash Moubtain a million times, but never as an adult. The art is truly incredible, i wish i could have appreciated it as much as I do now. Some of the best memories od my life are at Disneyland (i did go to Magic Kingdom once when i was 12).
Indian Child Yes the OSTs are using banjos and harmonicas to bring the Western feel and also, the Chick-a-Pin-Hill is also colored like Arizona canyons to make perfect blend with Frontierland.
Indian Child Tokyo Disneyland's Splash Mountain also has Western charactetistics and share same instrumental with this WDW's where Tokyo's Critter Country is a sub-set of that park's Westernland (Frontierland equivalent) where it is themed to Texas/New Mexico instead of Louisiana/New Orleans bayous like in Anaheim Disneyland.

Meh, I think flight of passage or rocking roller coaster. Honarable mentions for me would be the mountains, tower of terror, toy story mania, and test track. Although in terms of theming, this is one, if not, the best theme of a ride
Is Florida's version the best? I think so. You gain something from the southern dialect that's lacking in Tokyo, and the Cali version isn't as elaborate. Also the florida southern setting makes this feel right at home.

I remember at age 6,sitting on this ride being terrified of what was to come. When it got to the drop I screamed my guts out but as soon as I came off LOVED it and it remains my favourite ride ever to this day. Next year, I’m returning to Disney and I’m sooooo excited to finally ride this amazing ride again

Wait lines don’t matter, sure people go for rides and stuff. There is a lot of other things you can do. But not to worry, there are people like this who post the rides for others enjoyment.

Easily one of the best rides at Magic Kingdom. The length of the ride really does mega build up the anticipation for that final drop! It's really not so bad though, it looks way worse than it is. Also didn't get particularly wet which was good.

I remember when I was a kid here in Dallas at Six Flags we had a ride called Spelunkers Cave. As the ride took you through it a very fine mist would come down on you. It felt great and cooled you off!
@@_TAKtician oh, just the wording messed me up. Yeah the MK splash Mountain logs do feel uncomfortable at times and if you are on the edge, one side of you will get wet but the other won't get as wet. That's why I'd prefer to sit in the middle of it.
One of the very, very few rides I would ever go on. I usually stick to either the Tilt-a-Whirl kind of rides, and the teacups and log jammers. I'm terrified of heights but this looks so fun. Log jammer rides are easy on the nerves and the one big drop is enough for me!
This is my favorite ride of any amusement park!! I love that it’s long- not some typical go up, around and back down log ride; and I love the smaller hills that lead up to the big hill! So fun. I went again in December and lost my visor on the big hill- luckily the people behind me caught it! 😂
Disneyland Paris is missing this ride system or just any form of a (high capacity) water attraction. Whereas with 15ºc it might be cold in Florida or Hong Kong, that's when you see the first t-shirts appearing in more Nordic countries. Besides, there's plenty of technology to make the ride less or not wet when cold and you'd still have an awesome darkride.
I love this ride. Very different from most flume rides while still staying traditional with the big drop at the same time. I feel like most flume rides are just one minute slow boat rides and the only actual fun moment is the drop. On this ride, they give you multiple drops, multiple indoor and outdoor portions with incredible animatronics, and it has a story to follow along with that makes you want to go on it again and again (even if the story is based off of a racist movie...). I also actually really love the length of the ride. It’s long, but in the most perfect way, not in the way of “ugh, let’s get off this thing already” but in a good way. It’s not TOO long. Lots of amazing rides in Disney, but this one is one of the best.

Easily one of the best rides at Magic Kingdom. The length of the ride really does mega build up the anticipation for that final drop! It's really not so bad though, it looks way worse than it is. Also didn't get particularly wet which was good.
I went to Disney Land in February and there was, literally, no wait for this ride. Which, was awesome :)

this is nice to see because every time my family and i go to disney either; 1. my parents say no to splash mountain or 2. the ride breaks down right before we drop

Elena_ Angelus it also happens to my heart and throat I have a weird feeling because I went to a steep ride and at first I didn’t wanna go but I was forcing myself to go and when I was next in line I was about to get off but I forced myself to go and when I went I felt this feeling in my throat and heart like when you fall asleep and fall in your dream and wake up that’s how I felt.
The nostalgia put tears in my eyes. 😞 It's just that I'm watching this, I'm "seeing myself" and remembering what it was like when I was a kid. And it was fucking magical. 💔

I remember when I was a kid here in Dallas at Six Flags we had a ride called Spelunkers Cave. As the ride took you through it a very fine mist would come down on you. It felt great and cooled you off!

I agree. But the ammount of people trying to get in the ride is insane... I feel it's something that they HAVE to do to satisfy the demand
@@_TAKtician oh, just the wording messed me up. Yeah the MK splash Mountain logs do feel uncomfortable at times and if you are on the edge, one side of you will get wet but the other won't get as wet. That's why I'd prefer to sit in the middle of it.
@@SebPineda The log in front of this rider was mostly empty. Be cool if they could space them out more during low volume times.
One of the very, very few rides I would ever go on. I usually stick to either the Tilt-a-Whirl kind of rides, and the teacups and log jammers. I'm terrified of heights but this looks so fun. Log jammer rides are easy on the nerves and the one big drop is enough for me!

This is my favorite ride of any amusement park!! I love that it’s long- not some typical go up, around and back down log ride; and I love the smaller hills that lead up to the big hill! So fun. I went again in December and lost my visor on the big hill- luckily the people behind me caught it! 😂

Disneyland Paris is missing this ride system or just any form of a (high capacity) water attraction. Whereas with 15ºc it might be cold in Florida or Hong Kong, that's when you see the first t-shirts appearing in more Nordic countries. Besides, there's plenty of technology to make the ride less or not wet when cold and you'd still have an awesome darkride.
I just wouldn't fit the atmosphere of the park.
I love this ride because its so long and tells a story with intense drops

Me. It’s one of my favorite rides. Never even thought it was based off a movie.
Once you have been to WDW you will never want to go back to another theme park again. Disney can't be beat!😎
If you like thrill rides its actually the worst but if you like theming its the best. Cedar Fair parks are way better for coasters.
Rip splash mountain, you will be missed
I love this ride. Very different from most flume rides while still staying traditional with the big drop at the same time. I feel like most flume rides are just one minute slow boat rides and the only actual fun moment is the drop. On this ride, they give you multiple drops, multiple indoor and outdoor portions with incredible animatronics, and it has a story to follow along with that makes you want to go on it again and again (even if the story is based off of a racist movie...). I also actually really love the length of the ride. It’s long, but in the most perfect way, not in the way of “ugh, let’s get off this thing already” but in a good way. It’s not TOO long. Lots of amazing rides in Disney, but this one is one of the best.
