Fun Fact: The squad they use in this video, Eplison-6 "Villiage Idiots" iirc, is an pre-existing team detailed on the wiki. Some notice they wear Regular Clothing and Shoes under their Gear, it's so that in the event of communications being compromised they could unload said Gear down to just their Civilian Clothing then blend in with the Public as a way to continue to gain intel.
First fun fun fact in ages.
It's also incredibly convenient on a budget as well.
I feel like an SCP tv show would only work is if every episode story wise stand on its own, like you could watch any episode in any order without missing any context.
Maybe every episode goes into detail on how they secured the specific anomalies and maybe with an overarching story happening in the background, who knows.
I think a studio would have a lot of leeway when it comes to making an SCP tv show since canon in SCP is up to the reader. Hell, they can make their own SCP for the show.
I thought about a tv show and would love it.
Problem is no Hollywood studio going to touch SCP because they cant copyright protect it as there own.
Like they could sell dvds of there show, but so can everyone else and theres nothing they could do about it.
Too risky for them.
But if i ever win a major jackpot on the lottery i would fund the show myself

@@robling1937 That would be more Epsilon-11 they are the special forces infantry MTF. Hammer down is a bit to heavy on armor for rangers
@graysun9108 I see Epsilon-11 as an elite team to take down facilities with multiple containment breaches. Nu-7's description explicitly lists them as a "battalion-strength force consisting of three company-sized elements of special operations infantry forces", so I don't know where you're getting that they aren't special ops infantry. And even so, let me enjoy my fiction my way.
@@robling1937 No need for getting all jacked up. It lists too Tank Platoon, heli squadron, cbrn, combat engineers and even a network warfare squad. They are basicly a small version of the marine corps and not just infantry.
But no need to get angry.
The creator of these doesn't base the SCP fan films on any specific SCPs, but just draws from the whole universe as an inspiration from what I know.
Also, I don't know what's happening in some of the comments here, Overlord is one of the best SCP fan films I've ever seen.
although some scp's iv seen seem to match the fan films so ether he based it on them or they adapted the short films into actual scp entries

That sounds cool, he might have to stick to some of the ones with the most voice acting/editing like 2316/ the scarlet king/ reckoner so it's not entirely audio focused.

This movie is a personal favorite of mine. I did a review of if for an English project in senior year of high school and one one of 2 people to get a 100% on it. I’ve even backed the creators new project ‘Stalker: shadow of the zone’ because of how much I love their work.
7:15 oh god, Mole Rats get to explore yet another hole containing a very possible, Very painful death. Honestly sounds like another day for Zeta-9
They had planned a last 3rd movie, sadly however this movie failed funding and was cancelled.
Evan Royalty's SCP stuff is so damn cool.
The first two he did with some kind video game engine or something (idk anything about CGI) are underrated as hell.
Exploring Series does amazing scp content. I highly recommend
If you want a longer and really sad storyline I'd suggest "When Day Breaks" by SCP Illustrated. The story is older but his rendition is still on going with a new one as recent as a month ago or so.
Also this is a different Cthulhu like entity (my guess Azathoth). Cthulhu is in the SCP records, and is really a ok guy but unfortunately his mere presence causes weird cults to pop up and worship him despite him not wanting it whatsoever. He is just a teenager despite being several millennia old compared to us.
note the reason why they react slow is to both analyze the behaivuire of the anamoly and possibly not to provoke it wich is why they react so goddamn slow
Cabin in the woods is, almost definitely, based on the SCP stuff, there's almost no chance it isn't because it shares so many similarities, even down to the workers being desensitized to fear, among other things
I would recommend scp 035 sedition tape for just amazing writing and a fascinating story

I like this short a lot. I think it was really well done
The only none realistic thing with the tactics is the breaching and them not being spread out on the fields and woods.

They were packed together for film reasons, made for a better shot.

The exploring series is a testament to that he had 200k when I first found him before he started the scp content and now he has 800k plus now although he is changing content up because the scp content isn’t as popular as it was.
Another day for Zeta-9 Aka mole rats
The different fan films are good, but the real gold are the SCP articles and stories. I really like the channel The Exploring Series because has 266+ videos of SCP stuff. I like him, because he does really good videos on some of the larger concepts in the universe that may span multiple SCP's. So for example, he has great videos in all the groups of interest, such as the anomalous religions and different government organizations. But then other videos are super in depth looks at just one SCP. I also like that he discusses the SCP and not just reads it (though he does read some stuff verbatim). If you are just looking for straight articles being read to you, TheVolgun's channel does that super well and they have a gazillion videos. There is so much to explore and enjoy. I hope I can add to the wiki one day.
