Spam is huge in Hawaii because of WW2 and the troops stationed there and it was cheap. My dad was stationed in Hawaii and as such I was raised on spam. I will try this. But like the comment below there is a 25% less spam I'll use that.
I have a Masterbuilt 30" electric smoker and I use pellets. I don't know why Masterbuilt says not to use them. They work good and give plenty of smoke. Never had a problem. One bag lasts a long time.
I tried this recipe using a combination of 2 different pepper and applewood/brown sugar rubs and then glazed them with a combination of honey and maple syrup. I'm amazed at how good this made spam taste! Thanks for the great idea!
I try not to eat processed meat too much but I'm crazy liking the Spam 💗 I've never even thought of making something so yummy. I would probably not use any spice mixes that has salt in them because spam itself is so salty....but other than that I'm IN making this yummy yum delicious treat. 😋 Thanks for the idea 👍
Thanks Paivi Project that's why I used the low sodium spam (less salty). what made it REALLY good was all the sugar in the spice mix and the rib glaze. So bad yet so good!
I was so excited to find a spam smoked burnt ends recipe. disappointed this was a smoked spam recipe. j/k! my family have alot of food allergies to avoid, but they enjoy spam ok and these ingredients are ok. so this is definitely going on my list of recipes to try soon :). thank you very much!!
I have done this for years. A good tip is to use the low sodium spam, and it won't be so salty

Now you're a Spam Master!! I hadn't thought about spam in while. Might have to give it a try.
Looked good. I’m gonna have to try this in my masterbuilt.
How did it go?
Hi. Where do you get your Kosmos Q sauces and rubs from? Peach jalapeno sounds good.
Hi CM, I got it at a local bbq store. Where are you located?

Careful, Spam has sodium. You don’t want to add a lot more you can use 25% less sodium to give you some wiggle room
