RAM is absolutely killing it right now, such a gorgeous looking RAM ❤🔥❤🔥❤
After doing research the Ram truck is actually not killing it. 68 RFE transmission is a joke. Light duty transmission. Way to small for that Cummings motor. I love the Cummings motor by the way what a work horse but that’s it. If you want a strong medium duty transmission you have to get the 3500 Aisin with high out Cummings. Actually really strong transmission but the way it shift when your not towing is terrible, rough and just all over the place. Another thing that prevented me from going Ram is they still have not upgraded there cab. It’s small compared to Gmc and Ford. It’s like the cab from 2014 model. There 1500 have the upgraded cab though. Makes no sense. The Ram lastly just looks old. The 2022 looks like 5 years old. I will say I love the inside nice quality soft leather and awesome bigger screen. Well in my opinion Ram is always behind and outdated. They need to wake up and stop using that garbage Chrysler transmission and have Allison design a 8 speed for their diesel. Sticking with GMC! Only thing they are lacking is a refresh for the inside of their truck but it’s still really nice.

An important mechanical change for the '21 Cummins appears to be that Ram has gone back to the CP3 fuel pump. The CP4 has been known to have problems if there is water in the fuel.
Which is common with a diesel, its a good idea to drain the fuel/water separator with every oil change
@@SeahawkAz Agreed, if you maintain the fuel system with the CP4 you may not have any issues. But the CP4 generally takes the whole fuel system with it if goes, the CP3 didn't. Very expensive. GM had enough issues with it that they dumped Bosch for Denso.
Does the 2022 Gmc Sierra 3500 6.6 At4 have the CP4 fuel pump?
@@MrApostolicman GM changed the fuel system a few years ago from Bosch to Denso (so no more CP4). I think they have been reliable, but not really sure to be honest. May want to research that.
@@GNR325 I’m am thinking about buying a 2022 gmc 3500 At4 6.6 diesel but now wondering if I should buy new 2022 Dodge Ram Laramie 2500 diesel. I’m just concerned about the 6 speed transmission. Anyone have any thoughts?

I’ve been looking for a Patriot Blue Laramie 2500 with the Cummins, 6 seats & body color matching bumpers for 4 months here in the Midwest & apparently that’s a rare combination.

I would love for Ford to redesign the interior, i don’t mind it being the same as the F150, and for the people who say “why same interior design” I mean, RAM has the same interior in basically every truck so I don’t see the problem of Ford doing it,
I love huge screens but a vertical screen is not my type, that’s why I prefer the horizontal screen on the new F150

In the past, black finishes would be called a basic trim. Now it's called the "night package" and you have to pay extra. Amazing.

I have the exactly same truck. Had it for about 8 months now. I love everything about it. However, there are a couple of things that are disappointing. One; the paint chips incredibly easy. I have a ton of rock chips on the front and I don’t even drive in bad conditions. I live in CA. Two; the sheet metal is paper thin. I do not do any heavy duty stuff with my truck but the inside of the bed is already dented up and this is with light use. Also, the doors and all the panels gets dents and dings very easy. So, if you want durability, look elsewhere!

I ordered my 2021 Ram 2500 Cummins on October 1st. it says that it’s built but still sitting in Mexico. It’s driving my crazy that it’s not here yet and not knowing when it’s gonna show up sucks.
All that truck needs is a sunroof and me as the owner :-P

Nice truck. Did Ram remedy the Diesel pump problems? I’d be interested in a gas version of that vehicle if it had a bigger gas tank, maybe 38-40 gallons, and didn’t have to use premium gas. I like the Diesel but, maintaining gets expensive even if you don’t have the expected cp4 problems. Beautiful truck anyway. Thanks for the review.

I wonder why this truck doesn't have the gear limit selector on the steering wheel? I disagree about the power. It's nice with the HO being able to somewhat hold speeds while pulling passes with my toyhauler and not being stuck deciding should I slow down traffic a bit in the middle lane or get stuck behind a semi... More power!!

but i was wondering what you thought so i have a 2019 chevy trail boss crew cab and i really like the looks and options on the 2021 ram 1500 crew cab but not sure wether to go with the big horn or rebel please tell me your thoughts on this and what trim level would you recommend thnkyou in advance.

Can you lower the tire pressure for aftermarket tires without tripping the low tire warning? The older trucks had no way to turn off the gong and light.....ughhh
Just bought a 2020 2500 Laramie MegaCab with the Night Edition, I LOVE it. The Granite Crystal with the Night package is awesome! My only complaint would be the rear headrests are HUGE and block a fair bit of the rear window.

@@gregchernishov8553 if you’re getting a diesel buy a 2021! They switched to a CP3 and they have rear view mirror LCD screen. The CP3 is 100% worth paying a bit more upfront, trust me!
I can’t wait for Ram to update the cab on the HDs for 2022.
What kind of updates for the cab ?
@@raulskierez giving it the same true 5th generation cab the 1500 has. The current cab is from 4th gens, it was just facelifted for 19-21.
And hopefully new transmissions as well. 🤞
Or at the very least something to replace the 68rfe.

Is it just me, or does 85 psi for the tire pressure readings seem way too high? I keep the tires on my 1500 between 35-40.
They are usually 14 or 16 ply tires. They take more psi

Love the outside appearance... love the cummins... but I feel like there's way too much plastic in the interior- same issue on the limited. Looking at 80k Limiteds and theres so much plastic... wat???? Needs analog buttons for climate control- everything shouldn't be touchscreen only- it's hard to drive and mess with touchscreens (also touchscreens lock up sometimes, regardless of how good they are). A lot of automakers made the full touchscreen mistake and added back the analog controls beneath- hope Dodge addresses that. Also, no 4wd auto?
7:45 what are those 3 buttons for?
They aren't buttons, they are spring-loaded coin holders (0.25, 0.10, .& .05 cents)...my 2004 has them as well. Cheers.
Ben my 2019 Ram 1500 sport has a lot of road noise. Poor door seals right from the get go. And it gets snow down the intake vent by the windshield and that makes the fan not be able to force air threw into the cab that it should so it limits your heat on snow storms. Until it melts out. I won’t buy another Ram. They are nice but I don’t think the long term reliability or build quality is there personally. Looking for the new F150 next or hopefully a redesigned Tundra or Chevy. Not buying another Fiat product
I kind of agree with you. I’ve had a 19 Limited 3500 and now a 20 Laramie, both Cummins and in the winter I’ll be driving with the heat on and all of a sudden it’ll get cold in the truck and I feel a draft. It usually lasts 10 min or so. Dealer has no answers. My older rams 2012-2018, never had one issue.
If you want long term quality I’d go GMC
21 Cummins or 7.3 Godzilla f250?

Why are they not using the 1500 cab? Not as much room in the back as a 1500, unless you do that god awful mega cab. And no panoramic sunroof.
Except you can't get a bench seat with the Night Edition. I will not drive a truck with bucket seats. If I wanted a center console, I'd buy a sports car.

@@ramrider1453 Such a shame. A product that hits the consumer needs and tastes so well....and these guys are unable to produce it reliably, and that goes same for Ford and GM/Chevy. All seem to have that dead wobble thing going. Buy a $60K car + from us, and consider yourself lucky if it does not wobble like a drunken sailor. Tough thing to do.

Why is most rams 250 has 6 cylinders instead of 8 because it’s a heavy duty ! And why 150 has v8 you know just wondering! Cause I think v8 for the 250 and 350 as heavy duty
Diesel and gas engines are totally different. Look up the difference in torque.
