I felt the same way with my bariatric office. We started at the same time with our weight loss journey. I have watched you from the beginning. I started over 500lbs. It’s been such a battle losing over 250lbs but still being 250lbs. It’s been a fight to get on a GLP-1 because I’ve lost like you as a bariatric patient already having losing massive weight and I still have my personal goals I would love to be 185lbs. I was on wegovy was staying the same and slowly gaining but I have switched to tirzpatide and am finally losing weight! I have to pay out of pocket because insurance won’t pay but I’m never going back! Thank you for your sharing your journey because it helps to know your not alone and that we need to advocate for ourselves!
I wish insurance would pay for these meds I am in week 2 of semiglutide im so happy I am doing it I pay out of pocket but I’ve lost 15 lbs so far Im an RN and I take care of bariatric patients who had the lap sleeve every week I’m not a fan I would never do it but why do insurances cover that and not the med
Hello =) I had RNY 10 years ago , lost a ton of weight but it mostly all came back . I just started Mounjaro and Im so excited ! Its good to see someone else thats had WLS on this stuff ! P.S. Your engagement ring is gorgeous !!
May I ask you a few questions? How do you take the gpl1 medication? Is it by mouth or injection? If my injection does it hurt? Are you still following the Weight Watchers plan and their clinic program? Thank you.
I'm fighting for Mounjaro coverage (Prior Auth fight) but i'm not breaking a sweat if it doesn't happen. Grateful for there not being a lack of great compounded Tirzepatide telehealth services. I got RNY in July 2019 at the high 290's and got down to the low 160's but had almost 35 regain in the last 14 months. I have insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. My first goal is to get back to my lowest pre-GLP weight and then get to the "final boss" weight I always wanted to get to (and maintain) which is the 130-140 range.

My highest was 498, so I totally identify! I had RNY in 2003 at 350 pounds, and that obviously failed for me. I'd love to connect, if that's OK. :)
Great explanations. I am on week 13 and love Mounjaro. Down 18 pounds 🎉

Congratulations on your progress. May I ask how tall are you. I feel my body shape is like yours. I am at 192 lbs.

I’m starting July 1 on the MJ☝🏽☝🏽🙏 🙌🏽 🤞🤞🤞
Good job 👏🏼
(This is Angie, not Dennis) Oh my goodness! I just happened upon your profile. I am from the ESVA also!!! Is that Onancock creek? I'm from Accomac!
When I took Munjaro, I was so sick. And that was just the 2.5.
sorry to hear that! Everyone has different experiences on the medication
Random question: did you go to Texas A&M?
No! My husband loves the football team, but never went there! He became a fan during the Johnny Manziel era!
Not gonna lie but I absolutely love the bird noise in the background. I miss it!
hahha they are pretty great!!
Woo 😊 wow 🤩
You should go dairy free. 🚫 🥛
