      💯 Hopefully, he'll read your comment and be open to researching the metabolic approach. Besides Dr. Seyfried, there are a few additional resources as well as clinical studies to support this path. The diet is brutal, but along with the right cocktail of low toxicity repurposed meds and supplements, the results can be phenomenal. Have you read about fenben? Hope you're doing well. 🙏

    Had a similar mask - but it was a bit more restrictive given they did not need to radiate my brain... 25 proton beam radiation to my thoracic region for a super rare cancer (thymic carcinoma); 5 days a week for 5 weeks. Like you - I just wanted to get started with treatment and move forward - it made me feel less powerless over the situation although the first couple of sessions getting strapped in made me nervous for sure! "One day at a time, one item on the list to do" is how I kept myself from sliding into a bad place. I hope your treatment goes well and that you breeze through this journey with minimal side effects. Sending support from NY.

    Look into the keto diet and doing fasting. They say getting your body into ketosis can starve cancer and try and help your body “reset”. There is a young doctor on YT, Dr Nhi Tran Lee, who is trying this method on herself. You might try checking her channel out. Wishing you all the best! 🙏❤️

      The MD has such a beautiful presence and has been through far too much in the last 9 years. Sarcoma is tenacious... Hopefully, this young man will be reading the comments. Fenben, with other low toxicity drugs, has been incredibly beneficial to so many with various stage 4 CAs. The strict diet is challenging but also helps to starve those incredibly adaptable cells.

    • @jasonwatson6104
      @jasonwatson6104 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The Kito diet has been shown to effectively reduce glucose uptake by cancer cells, thereby inhibiting glycolysis. Additionally, interventions such as fenbendazole administration and extended fasting have demonstrated promise in reducing glutamine uptake by cancer cells. A combination of all 3 i believe are required in my stage 4 cancer battle!

    • @celticsunise4ever
      @celticsunise4ever 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jasonwatson6104 That's wonderful! Perhaps consider also looking into the work of physical therapist PhD, stage 4 CA survivor, and author Jane McLeland. She published a best-selling book about starving CA. Her journey began in the late 90s. There are a number of low toxicity repurposed meds/supplements that work synergistically to interfere with CA cell's metabolism. These highly adaptable cells seek out alternative fuels, including glycine, leucine, serine, glutamine, and arginine, as well as fat and glucose. Combined with the diet, the cocktails interfere with their metabolism. Just finished watching a clip with Dr. Seyfried discussing the benefits of both...

    Steroids are working,you got the "puffy fish" look...I had that with my initial MS therapy with the five day IV drip when I was in the hospital.
    Just cut down on your sugar intake while you are on steroids until they "ween" you off of it.
