Dude, bad buzzed heads unite. I shaved mine a bit ago and it's just not a good look for me. Plus my wife is a hair stylist and always comments on my huge occipital bone. Happy to hear the good news and happy to see you have a sense of humor through it all. Let's keep it going.
It was such a bummer to find out my skull isn’t made for buzzed hair. Thats why god gave me luscious hair so I wouldn’t be tempted to in the first place. Ive learned my lesson. Thanks friend. Onward!
It’s really heartening to hear some positive news! Looking forward to more good news and sending you all the strength and support for the next part of your journey!
I love how much respect you spoke outloud for yourself and how it feels to be experiencing what you are right now. Thanks Chris. Share what you want, how you want; and I’m jazzed about photography content as always!
Happy to hear you’re doing much better! As someone who was touched by a parent passing from cancer- do not feel guilty! You’re loved ones are there for you by choice and they love you endlessly. As someone who has a deep seeded fear of developing cancer and putting my loved ones through it- give yourself the grace and patience that someone going through your situation deserves. Guilt comes with the territory (on both sides). Good luck to you!
Cancer is terrifying - for anyone going through this, therapy can be super helpful. The psychological, as well as the physical effects can sneak up on you. Well done for an amazing, honest and open video. It looks great too, amazingly framed. Incredible news on the tumours vanishing from the brain. I'll raise my mug of green tea in your direction.
I've always been into photography outside of this (you can see my photo of St. Pauls in London as my profile image), but it was the cancer that for some reason the algorithm brought me to your channel. Just want to say hi from 🇬🇧 - we're all rooting for you. You're dealing with this far better than I would. I'm not gonna be one of those people to say 'You will beat this' - because cancer is not a war, pass or fail. It just is. Just know that people care about what happens to you, stranger, take that as a hug from across the world. Finally I want to say I absolutely LOVE the way you have composed this video, the shots are beautiful and moving.
Great news about the brain tumors! Steroids are such a pain. As someone who spent nearly a full year on them with the moon face effect for the majority of that time, I feel with you. It's true though, it does get better again afterwards. Serious illness is life changing, but at least, it also reveals who your real friends are. Seems to me like you're blessed with many real friends and won't find yourself alone by the time remission kicks in (unlike some of us). Anyway, still cheering you on from a far as it's the only thing I can do. Keep fighting the good fight!
Im only my fifth round, day 1 right now as i type this my brother and I haven’t lost my hair yet haha and i still have another 4 to go before the doctors talk about what to do next. But lets be strong together my man ❤️ Also i greatly suggest getting a port instead of them trying to find a vein every time.
Excited for the future! One last sady boy comment though. You're not alone there are people who love and care about you. We wish you all the best and are always here for you. Glad you still have your sense of humor. Never let that go :)
I get the skin thing. I had three rounds of Docetaxel which made my rosacea explode exactly on day 10, every time. I had blood and puss running down my face, literally (literally!) and it hurt like hell. I did not leave the house except for treatment for three months. The only time I cried during the whole thing. Very happy it is looking positive for you, and I wish you a bright future.
Yes I read an article by a lady who scammed 100,000 from people on you tube and go fund me .She said saying you have cancer makes people want to give you things She even bought a used oxygen tank on eBay so people would think she was on O2 .She got 8 years in prison
Dude, zoomed in to take a peek and you look perfectly fine. Try to let go of that trepidation about your appearance. I’m sure everyone here is supportive and concerned more about your well being than any superficial stuff. I hope you’ll find energy to create with film again soon. Wishing you the best.

@@ThePhotoDept - I'm curious. When you had just the lake behind you, were you around the South Shore area or more by Bradford Beach. It looked more like South Shore.
I mean, I keep my fingers crossed for you from the beginning, but the vibe of "the cancer is personal for me, I wanna keep it close to the chest", but also "if you pay, I'm gonna tell you all about it" kinda itches. Other than the sound of it, it is actually understandable.
I tried to be really clear about it, basically going forward, I want to keep more personal stuff off of TH-cam and focus more on photography. If you’re really invested in the cancer journey and want to see the more personal stuff, it isn’t unreasonable to put it behind a modest paywall. In the first hand it deters the conspiracy theory loving, hateful, online trolls from engaging. Check my cancer announcement video to see what I mean. On the other hand, if you really want a peek into my personal life that bad, $4 isn’t going to bankrupt you. It seems fair to me. Hope you have a good weekend.

What an insane thing to say without any proof. I would watch out for that karma thing if I were you. Can’t be good for karma telling cancer patients you think they are scammers. Have the day you deserve.
@silviebreber1523 well I hope you can cope with the times they aren’t. Like right now. It takes a lot of balls to tell a stranger anonymously you think they are a scammer when they are fighting stage 4 lung cancer.
Even if you think this, it's a crazy thing to say. Even if you're convinced that's the case. An 'instinct' isn't worth even the smallest possibility of accusing someone who is already suffering so much physically and emotionally of scamming. Instead of going around accusing people with cancer of being scammers, maybe you should advocate for free healthcare in America which would solve the 'scammers' problem, as people wouldn't need to fundraise to get medical help!
