Oh thank you so much for this. I truly appreciate it. This is my style. I do quilt and freemotion but not great at it. So I would rather stitch in the ditch or make shadow stitches. Also, with the cost of material, I am in no way going to pay a quilter to quilt my work. Gosh, fabric is getting so high. Glad I have alot in my stash to use. Only trouble is, I keep running out of white fabric. LOL
It is getting expensive, for sure! Thank goodness for large stashes. Last time we went fabric shopping, we bought a LOT of different white-on-whites, and we're so glad we did! 🌷
Sew Yeah Quilting has Destash on Saturday nights beginning at 5 pm PST. It is all quilt shop quality fabric and name brands for $6 yard. They sell a lot of 5 yd cuts that are perfect considered solids and some you can use for backings!!!! They also sell 3 yd cuts, bundles of 3 and 5 - 1 yd cuts, and layer cuts/jelly rolls for $30.
I really thank you! I’ve been quilting for years. I love the piece work but the quilting always looks like a child did it. I can do the straight lines, I think. Haha. You have inspired me!
I like your plain spoken, easy to understand tutorials. They are helpful with wonderful tips for each of us. Thank you for sharing. Blessings to y'all.
As a new quilter I really enjoyed this video. I liked and subscribed and will be excited to watch any of your videos. Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom.
Great job! I like that tip of taking a peek at the line on the table... Kind of gives you a "sight line".... Where, sitting there, with no camera, right in front of it, once you get lined up, you can just go straight....
Thank you! The walking foot helps to feed the fabric evenly from the top and the bottom at the same time. Keeps everything in place better when you have layers. 🌷
Enjoy the way you teach. You get to the point. ♥
Thank you! Glad you think so! 😊🌷

@@ceciliaschleicher278 Oh Yes Cecilia, I forgot about them. Thank you for the reminder.
Maybe it’s not the best thing to do but I buy white sheets at Goodwill. They were really good.
@@tinaneely1 That's not a bad idea, back in the day quilts were always made with whatever fabric was on hand! 🌷💕

Question......what does the walker foot do? I have one but never used it!

@@TulipSquare Oh, Ok! Thanks!😊
@@dollihombs4497 Yup! 🥰
What batting do you use? I am making a table runner. I like how thin the finished piece looked knowing there is a front, back and batting. thanks
We use this either warm & natural or warm & white: #ad: amzn.to/3PrnlcH
