    This is by far the simplest, neatest most precise and beautiful way of making lovely corners on your napkins.
    You're brilliant and wonderful presentation. Thanks so much.
    As soon as my kitty finishes his nap on my sewing chair, I'm off to make some Chrissie napkins for my daughter 👍💖🎄😺

      @TulipSquare Frankie 🐈 slept for about three hours 💤💤 after which I got sewing (did the ironing part while he slept) and made 2 lovely napkins with perfect mitred corners. Yah 👍👏😊. Thanks so much again.

    I have been struggling with perfect corners, perfect seams, perfect fabric cuts. You have just taken so much pain and agony out of my projects! I love to use cloth napkins so I make them often and I will be thanking you each and every time I do!

    Thank you for this great tutorial. Your description is thorough and you show exactly what we (or at least I) need to see. I've made lots of napkins for our use and for gifts, but I'm always looking for a better pattern. I don't need to look any further!

    This sounds crazy, but I made napkins yesterday for my spring dishes. Wish I had seen this before, but I will remember it for next time. Thanks

    Many different ways to make a mitered corner and some are a royal pain. This is the easiest method I've found. I always make napkins to match placemats and napkins are the easiest part and just finish off the set.

    If I want a wide hem, such as 1”, would the measurement for the corners be double that to 2”?

    • @TulipSquare
      @TulipSquare  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, and you also would need to make a 1” pressed hem instead of 3/4” (step 2 in the pdf). This will also make your napkins smaller.

    How do I cut one yard of fabric to get eight smaller napkins?

    • @TulipSquare
      @TulipSquare  ปีที่แล้ว

      To make the rectangle casual size, cut your yard into fat quarters, then cut the fat quarters in half.
