Nah facts. Really makes the game feel a little bit refreshed. We just need better modes and maps to be honest.
Would be great if they wouldnt keep resetting for me and quite a bit of other players, bug as old as custom sights, game sometimes refuses to load up the folder, now even if I create a sight solely from the gaijin's assets and save the profile it will reset from time to time.

I think it's zoom got rapidly nerfed since the dev server...also I like how it is designed as su24M but with M2 weapons...except the r73 that it needs for grind right 😊 thanx GAYjin for continuing to spoonfeed the usa

I believe MAW is looking for smoke/heat trail of an active missile motor, not only that but i believe at one point someone said MAWs all have different maximum detection ranges. The reason it may not be working is because the missile motor burned out beyond the MAW range and by the time it passed you, it had no active motor, so it wouldnt see it. Im probably wrong though and wouldnt doubt that it is just outright broken. But it would also explain why flares set it off occasionally too and why missiles that arent coming directly at you, set it off too.
Also it sucks that the new sight system is extremely buggy and clunky, i havent bothered using it due to that.

Hunter i found out how to use a10c with lightning pod and 6 mavericks, it’s definitely kinda bugged but it works!

I like MAW on Jets, I just don't like the countermeasure slaving to them so I turn that off. With countermeasure slaving turned off MAW is nice to catch me from getting hit but I'm not paying attention or tunnel visioned on something.

115GB client, 2560x1440, DLSS OFF, SSAA OFF, Antialiasing TAA, all graphic settings on highest, even grass and trees, hmmmm what else, ah yes the film color correction in PostFx settings, I hope this helps your experience.

i bring this and my SU-39, but tbh i think i prefer this simply for the speed, at high altitude it can be very lethal. also a perfect plane for 11.3

Aaaaaand its gone. While its still fun, at 11.3 its limited rwr and useless ground radar coupled with only r60's means its not really anything special to me.
Oh well, maybe next update....

@@Hunter_i86 btw abt the Su-24M MAWS unreliability, well don't expect such old system in Su-24M can work well like the one on Mirage 2000(CS5 and above), Su-25SM3 and all modern helis here
MAWS reliability depend on detection range and detection area, IR/UV sensors senitivity, false warning rate, etc
Just impossible gaijin considers the Su24 to be equal to the Tornados........

People do not understand the function of satellite guided bombs in WT when CCRP bombs are accurate down to 5 metres. In reality, bombs dropped through CCIP, CCRP are accurate up to 50 metres because of flight dynamics and forces affecting the bombs. Laser guided bombs and TV guided bombs are accurate up to 20 metres. While Satellite guided bombs are accurate up to 5 metres. If Gaijin implements an advanced flight model on bombs, that's when people will appreciate satellite guided, laser guided, and TV guided bombs, and be annoyed by all other bombing methods preceding them.

I have found the s250ml to be nice on this aircraft for 12km launch. It doesn't have anything on the su25t or su39 other than speed. I think I prefer the rook's for the radar, range of weapons and more flares and chaff
the RWR is great on Su-25T too.

Do you rate the su25t/su39 higher or lower than the su24m?
To me the su24m seems a bit better because of its increased speed. Sub sonic jets really struggle against SPAA imo. Other than that they are almost the same.
I say both in the lineup and use whichever depending on the situation in the battle, one has better RWR and one has better speed.

Hello, I played both, I liked Su-24 more, Maverick is frustrating, so many hits. But GBU 15 IR is fun and it is the unique weapon of the Aardvark, video in the coming days.

Tbh this aircraft is the one i had most success in cas with, everygame if i get in this jet min 4 kills but ofc it also depends if im getting uptiered and then taking a fox 3 missile from 40km away smh...
But if u dont get uptiered and get in this jet i honestly think its skill issues not to get min 4k
gaijin makes another russian plane that didnt exist. this version of the SU 24 didnt have satellite guided bombs.
It did , in the modifications there’s an m2 mod which allows the use of more guided weapons
@@Destined619 no it didn't there are numerous different modifications of this plane, gaijin is adding them to it from different types of the plane.
@@sarttee yes it does we have 2 versions of the plane in one in the game ,the normal su-24M and there is a mod in game (if you have a look) which says su-24m2 which allows you to use more guided munitions ie satellite guided bombs
Hunter, since the pacth, have you had issues with Shift, and Ctrl binds interupting the other keybinds? If so, how did you fix it?
I have issues when getting out of TGP view, rolling button is not responding unless releasing it then pressing it again which delays the pulling off maneuver after dropping a bomb, this did lead to so many deaths that should not happen when I tried Su-24 and Harrier after update, I couldn't report because I couldn't determine where is the problem, is it a bug or something wrong in my controls? I don't know.
@@Hunter_i86 Thank you for your response. Mine is similar, but I can replicate it with my Shift or Ctrl binds. I also have to release the key and press it again. So weird. Hope they fix this soon.

Just to make sure that it's not me and I'm not in my own head, do you get screwed over by war Thunder often? As is evident by the videos in my average heatseeker moment series I get screwed over a ton. Just for clarity say, that is just stuff that I happen to be recording when it happens. I feel like I just get shot in both of my kneecaps out in the desert with no water and I'm bear hugging a cactus. It pisses me off so much because of how badly I get screwed over and because I know that I can do so much better but the game just seems dead set on screwing me over at every single opportunity possible and it feels like I don't get anything done.
Frustration and getting killed happen to all of us my friend, when that happen I take a break, change BR or change nation .. but for Su-24 for example I got rekt at the start of session because of the bad RWR and no thermal, so I decided to be more tactical, faster and high altitude, strike targets of opportunity and run.

Why isn’t the Laser rangefinder working on Console?
Idk if you're gonna see this but i'm starting to play russia 11.3 ground and i wanted to ask what is your prefered strategy for dealing with enemy SPAA and with which plane do you see the most success (the Su-25T, Su-24M and MiG-27's for example)
Su-25T is the best for me because of good RWR. Su-24M, 3x Kh-29T loadout is good too, go to 20km away from the battle since your RWR is blind and no thermal, turn and start searching for SAM in enemy spawn area, your missiles are very long range, launch them in point mode and hope for the best, this is the safest way to deal with SPAA, also another tip, always turn OFF your radar on any plane, to stay hidden on enemy RWR and turn it ON only when you want to use it for searching or for locking.

This things is crazy capable at 11.3 this should at least be an 11.7 or 12.0. Spaas at 10.3 can’t even touch this thing. It’s getting to the point where Spaa is almost useless. Unless you have a pantsir.
unfortunately gaijin has decided that the spaa gameplay loop (at high tier) will forever be:
1. see plane spawn in and immediately climb
2. watch him fire standoff weapons from 10km which no spaa can hit at (you'd have to pre-launch to hit him before release if he is not blind and retarded)
3. try to move from your spot to escape maverick/kh-29 point lock
4. die anyways because most platforms that have good missiles are slow as fuck
couldnt have competent cas players dying to anything other than CAP can we?

They can’t cause they stupidly gave this thing a mod called su24m2 and that is the most modern version. But only the satellite bombs are from the modern version nothing else. Not the better rwr or weapons
