I have a feeling that Battle Rating of A-10C in Air RB vs Ground RB is accidentally swapped. What do you think?
I had exactly same thought when I saw the BR's
11.3/11.7 air RB would be fine for A10C.. not 12.0 in the SPAMRAM BR 😂
Considering 10.3 aircraft and 10.7 flareless aircraft having to fight Aim-9Ms with HMD, yep I think the BRs are swapped.

Personally i feel like its BR should be in the same situation as the premium AV-8B NA and the Aardvark F/C that being it’s the same BR in ground as it is in air
I been loving the a10c in air sim having the ability to see where all your friendlies are at all times helps sooo much and when ai battles start you can just look for the friendly tanks marks and know exactly where the enemies are its so great.

@@Hunter_i86I got a piece of unconfirmed info that says that the precursor helmet to the F-35's helmet was originally in the A-10C, and War Thunder included it. You're supposed to be able to lock onto planes and helos by looking at them.

@lbioy2179 can't carry x6 AGM-65D and a Lightining Pod unfortunately, as the 1 right 65D would burn the pod. Unless they add a selection for a dual mount Maverick pylon
@@RodanES The USAF A10-C can carry 6 Mavs with the Lightning pod, and they have used that loadout before.
It only scorches the paint.
I even submitted a report with a published picture from the USAF with an A10-C carrying that exact loadout and they rejected it, I guess they know better than the USAF.....

I highly suggest u lobbing the missile, which requires shooting them at an angle of 20° more or less depending on the range, then when they face down, engage the laser, which will slave them on the target.
I once launch them from 8NM at 20,000ft on DCS and it went right on target.

I like the clearness of the crew voices this update, it’s crystal clear! One thing that would be cool to see would be variations in voices- say if you play America you have some crewman with accents, either individual or maybe from a certain state/base. Or let’s say for Britain! You have a crew that is English, maybe a crew that’s Scottish, maybe one that’s welsh or Irish, the list could go on!

In terms of quality of life I'm all over this update. A few new vehicles I'm excited about too. And I don't know if it's just me but I was taken by surprise yesterday, when I found out the update was allready out. Especially the custom sights now, ugh, I LIVE IT!
I feel like the A10C will do great in sim battles, since it can see friendly units, I just don't know if it works works all the time

Trying to grind modules for this thing is the most miserable experience I've had in this game. Fly 5 minutes straight to *maybe* get close enough to strafe a ground target before the round ends, most likely just die to any given fighter that isn't dumb enough to head on you.
Air RB is a mess, Air RB EC is very needed and it is very necessary now for planes like A-10 to be able to grind.

my one complaint about the custom sights is that the range of the target doesn't go away when you rest the range.
Also, in DCS the A10 can hold the 3 mavericks on both sides with the lighting pod, the fact that it cant do it in WT is stupid.
This means that the A10 is useless, its just a worse AV8B+
I saw Grim Reaper does it, but they were not Maverick D nor G as I remember, I think they were B & H, maybe I'm wrong.

What is the survival rate according to your experience?
I died more than ten times while making this video, mostly by enemy planes Fox 3 and high end Fox 2s.
Didn't die much by S1 and VT-1 because I was low always but 70% of my Mavericks were getting shot down. 12.0 is too much.
I was watching another yt vid and I saw the cinematic A10 pic and I instantly knew what it was gonna be about 🙏🙏

When engaging SPAA or any lightly armored vehicle I find HEAT or squash head to be more effective than APFSDS

Shit dude, why are my games never like this? They always last 1 minute, either the enemy team is terrible or our team is awful, it's never balanced.
This update is absolute heaven for cas players. Im honestly thinking of buying the su24m and not grinding it so il have fun with it and move to the usa and grind their new jet
I am currently grinding the A-7E and D variant to spade them and get the bonus toward the A-10C, but I keep getting into matches with bombers much faster than me. XD It's going to be a while.
You should try simulator battles, you have a higher reward and depending on the map there are up to 8 bases to bomb + some tanks, ships and Spaa to score points, Getting used to the air battles simulator takes very little time, about two days if you know your controls.

@@gorkemsar5936 I tried to make realistic as much as possible, the font is "U.S", and position of "gun ready" and "range" is similar to Abrams gunner sight in real life.

I wanted to ask how you feel about the current state of balance between CAS and SPAA at top tier. Can aircraft such as A-10C be competetive when facing such potent AA systems as Pantsir? Generally, what state do you feel top tier CAS is in?
Hello my friend, top tier CAS in general is fine, in fact since we got digital RWRs I think CAS became fine, we don't fly blindly anymore with modern aircraft, and I was and still against nerfing SPAA in terms of IRST lock triggering RWRs currently, it was not needed, I was against SPAA nerf when shutting down "search" radar the "track" radar stops working, it is not needed as well, I love CAS, I love realism but I like fairness as well.
However, no matter how much SPAAs get nerfed Pantsir S1 is untouched by these nerfs because of band "K" track radar that no jet in the game has an RWR that covers it, yet.
About the A-10C, it is only an A-10 with Mavericks, I don't know why it is at 12.0 in Ground RB, it should be at 11.3 in my opinion, and even at 11.3 Harrier NA might still be the better choice.
AIM-9M should not be a major factor to determine its BR in "Ground RB" mode.

I think if you know how to use it you can do well even at that BR however CAS has become a nuisance it only slows down the grind for the tanks
Not Hunter lol, but I can say the SEP is virtually the same as the SEPV2 but you’re lighter and have the option of removing the unnecessary TUSK package which doesn’t really improve protection. With the SEPV2, you’re stuck with TUSK and stick out much more

playing with pantsir on your side on the team is easy
Easier, not easy. It is an A-10 with 500km\h speed against FlaRakRad, Pantsir S1, Gripen and Su-27, it is an A-10, not B-1 Lancer, all SPAAs are considered a threat to it, even a Strela.
And if you ever watched the video you would notice that a lot of my Mavericks were getting intercepted by VT-1 missiles easily.
Also Pantsir S1 was against me multiple times in this video.
And finally, I have no control on matchmaking, these are not custom battles.

Do you have any tips on how to play the new Tornado IDS in ground rb? Only gets 8 1000 lb bombs and thats it.. I cant really get it to work, I keep getting shot down when I line up to toss the bombs. Usually by proxy shell slingers like 2s38, swedish light tanks or even worse, the hstvl.
I might give it a try, 10.3 usually is A10, AMX and TRAM environment. Try bombing from high altitude when a cap zone gets captured or an SPAA is spotted.
as a tanke player i hate that the LRF does not zero out when you level the gun with the mouse whelee and also can´t change the loader color , just an annoying green point in an all black and white screen ah , hope they make you can change more on the sight . (also can you make a video about the Puma vtjf ? would be realy cool ) .

Seriously. It's one of if not the worst examples of blatant anti US bias I have ever seen. Completely and obviously contradictory to reality. F this company.
Its realistic, the maverick triple rack next to the lightning pod would burn the lightning targeting, a solution was made later on in service (A-10C Late) which allowed for the triple rack next to the pod

I honestly don’t know what’s better, this or the F-111F. With the Vark you have the performance to make good use of your weapons, but your RWR isn’t good so you lack the situational awareness. The A-10C has great avionics and weapons but terrible performance to make use out of most of them. Kind of frustrating
As one of the best CAS TH-camrs, do you suggest the a-10c or the f-111f. I know they are very different in their role but I am interested in what you think
For the current META a supersonic jet with six Mavericks will be better, I don't know why they decided to put A-10C at 12.0 in Ground RB, it has four Mavericks and nowadays if you fire three Mavericks two of them get shot down by SPAA because the majority of SPAA players did learn to do it with ADATS, FlaRakRad and of course Pantsir S1 which is a good thing, learning to defeat CAS and denying its ordnance is better than crying about CAS all the time.
