    At 1:13, you said that the card was released in 2020 but that's false. The RDNA2-based RX 6000-series launched in 2020. The RX 7900 XTX launched in 2022.
    I have had the ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming OC for over a year now and it is just an amazing card. I got really lucky with it as it was an open-box special from Newegg that cost (the equivalent of) $850USD. Since I live in Canada and it was August of 2023, I couldn't say no and pulled the trigger on it as soon as I saw it. I wasn't even looking for a new GPU because my RX 6800 XT was doing just fine at the time but I couldn't say no to that price.
    I have absolutely loved this card from the day that it arrived. There's no question that I made the right choice because that 24GB VRAM buffer is going to last for a good, long time!

      Yes I did mix up the date haha thanks for spotting that. Glad you're enjoying the card. It is one of AMD's best. Will definitely last you a long time.

    This and the reference card are the only ones available that fit in my case. GPUs are so massive these days.

      I hear ya. That's why I bought a server supertower about ten years ago and have been using it ever since. I have yet to encounter a card that even comes close to being to big and my ASRock RX7900 XTX Phantom Gaming OC is a HUGE card.

    How stable are these cards for cs2 or fps games , im really considering buying one over the 4080 super but i keep hearing crashing is brutal ?? Good job on the video btw !

      These cards are great. Never had any issues tbh. I personally prefer NVIDIA stuff because the software and drivers feel a bit more under control. However, I can't say I have ever disliked AMD because of technical issues. During tests, I have never had crashes. And I really put these GPUs to the test.

      @@GLITCHEDZA My card's name is even worse. Try saying "ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming OC" three times fast. 😁

    Didnt you pump up the fan to 100% manualy? The temps you show during test are around 45 degres on GPU core while over 3000rpm on the card fans. It is impossible for fan speed curve to be that strange.

    • @laci6242
      @laci6242 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe it's a bug with the Gigabyte control center. When i had it installed it kept messing with the fan curve. After i uninstalled it the card became much quiter.

    I have one but im a cheap gamer i always look for open box or refurbished stuff. But for the one i have i snugged it for $750

      @AvroBellow 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cheap gamers don't use the RX 7900 XTX so you are a FORMER cheap gamer. Besides, who cares if it's refurbished if it works? As long as the warranty is still intact, you made out like a bandit! 😁

    I was considering getting this GPU until I heard the fan noise on your video. That is so loud. Such a shame as it looks great otherwise.

      Thats exactly why I'm considering watercooling this card now, since I already bought it.

    • @ThePapadaiw
      @ThePapadaiw 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Fan noise considerably goes louder around 2000rpm, while it's quite bearable under that.
      I ran a custom fan curve to manage noise.

    • @AvroBellow
      @AvroBellow 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Well, this is one of, if not the, cheapest XTX model out there so, yeah, it's going to forego some things to allow for the lower price. Remember though that the fans only ramp up when you're gaming and should be drowned out by the sounds of your game anyway.

      This is one of the least-expensive models of the XTX so, yeah, it's going to be a bit rougher than more expensive models. Remember though that the fans only ramp up under heavy gaming and should be drowned out by the sounds of your games.

      @@xbox360J You're a damn liar. Cards don't come WITH drivers and haven't for a long time. These days, you have to download them and Adrenalin drivers are rock-solid. I've gone through an RX 5700 XT, RX 6800 XT and now my RX 7900 XTX and I have NEVER had a driver issue. if you had bad drivers, then EVERYONE would have had bad drivers and that hasn't happened. You're clearly just a clueless noob who probably didn't run DDU before installing Adrenalin to properly remove the GeForce drivers from your PC or maybe you're some nVIDIA plant who lies on the internet.
      Either way, you're absolutely full of it and deserve to be fleeced by nVIDIA with your RTX 4090 (if you actually have one, I doubt that too).
