Such a shame scanners are dying off. I have two Martin Roboscan Pro 518s and love them; I'm going to try to source at least another two more for some of the bigger shows I have coming up this summer. :)
Scanners are such an under appreciated light in my opinion, which is a shame because they do have some benefits over moving heads, they are faster and with the exceptions of the Chinees knock off market they are cheaper than moving heads. A also scanners just look so cool it's a real shame they are a dying breed.
Scanner has many practical benefits and if industry would evolve the technology, it would be the best solution for many aplication.

Long live the scanner 😊

Especially for DJs who always complain about moving heads facing behind them.
Anyone have any experience with this or the Varytec Hero Scan? As I’ve collected moving heads, I realize I should’ve been collecting scanners.
go with the Chauvet Intimidator 360 scanner. it's way way cheaper than this one.
I LIKE it...I really wish that it had 2 gobo wheels, also a CTO and a CTB.
Price is way to high. Theres scanners out that do the same for half the cost. Cool light but they priced it wrong.
Yeah chauvet has a scanner with the same features for less than half the cost
Why would I pay $1 dollars for this when it's the exact same Scanner as the Chauvet Intimidator 360 scanner ?
