I kept waiting for you to darken the reflection as it would be in reality. Regardless, it's a well presented tutorial and I thank you. Stay safe, healthy and inside.

Great video. I managed to list step by step instructions for myself to use. A question: does the angle of the sun make a difference in the length of the water reflection or are they both always the same length?

You make that look so easy... Super effect that really transforms a photo... Brilliant tutorial... Do you know if that can be done in the latest elements software or only in full photoshop as it were... Thanks for sharing #SafeSafeStayHealthy

Hi there! First, thank you for creating a very easy to follow TH-cam tutorial for this! I am running into an issue. I am at the point where I am applying the displacement map and keep getting "Could not continue. Displacement maps must be 8 bits/pixel." I don't know what I am doing wrong. Any help is truly appreciated.

Good ideas for the composition. But I think it would be more natural if the reflection is darker than the original. Physically it is not possible that the reflected picture is brighter than the original object.

Anthony: Dmap didn't work for you because such files must be desaturated to render properly.
