I love her!! I've seen the whole live gig...the new song is perfect because it's made for her voice. I'm absolutely delighted about this new beginnings and I can share with my son. He was 16/17 months old when I played it to him ( now he's 24 yrs)and now we share this passion for LP!!!
Nobody knew the first song. It was the debut of the new single with the new singer. They opened woth a brand new song with a new songer, that was the big surprise that you skipped.
here's the thing, they could've gotten any balladeer/youtube cover artist with no personality, but they didn't. Their carefully weighed decision and process of acquiring a new vocalist is incredibly applaudable
Sorry but are you considering the Emptiness Machine a 'switch to metal' for LP? Or am I understanding that wrong? No other song off the new album has been released. And it's not their most pop song by any means. But its not even close to their most metal song either.
@@g-urts5518 If anything, I see her sound and style with Linkin Park going more down the 2010s Alt-Rock route. If you check out the types of rock bands Mike Shinoda was into in the 2010s, it was younger garage rock and punk bands like FIDLAR, Poppy, and then you get 100 gecs. It’s really exciting because being different always set them apart from all the other “pop punk” and “nu metal” bands of their time. Mike was always ahead of the game style-wise and sound-wise.
Let's get this new era rolling. I want NEW songs. Linkin Park with Emily - let's fruckin GO!

A fun fact, they wrote The Emptiness Machine before Emily was even an idea. Contrary to popular belief it wasn’t written for her

Unpopular opinion: the woman fits actually better with these Emo lyrics and the switch to Metal ,

They sang the song Lost clearly was for chester but you skipped it
Yeah I said I wasn’t watching the whole thing In the beginning of the video
Um.. Skip a new song just before the new singer's chorus? Interesting reaction...
I literally said I wanted to hear her do Chester’s parts
Chester ain’t got no part in the new song lol
He also skipped full One Step Closer, best performance in that live show xD
YES, WEIRD ONE.. cant believe he did it :D
they could not have done this better (still a NIN influence)

Please react to Halle Bailey's new song "Because I Love You", she outdid herself. The music video is insane 🔥
