      Beloved, Please give this your special attention.
      God is a Good, Holy and Just( meaning that He up holds justice and does what He deems as good) Judge. He is also forgiving and He is All-Loving. He is also perfect meaning that there is nothing about Him this is contradictory. But How can He forgive you and me but still uphold Justice.
      Look at it in this way: Judges who punish the innocent and release the wicked and quilty, are wicked, evil and are corrupt. It does not matter how much a quilty man is sorry for his crime, he must go to jail. Let's say a man raped and murdered a little girl, but is so sorry for the rape; the judge must still send him to jail. And likewise God must still punish our sins, but He can still forgive us. How? How can God forgive us and still satisfy His Justice?
      This is how:
      All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. There is none righteous, no not one” (Romans 3:10, 23 NKJV).
      -It means that each and every single person sins and has sinned.
      2) “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
      -Death is eternal separation from God in hell.
      - But believing in Christ alone allows you to be with God in everlasting joy.
      •"The iniquity and sins of each and every persons were placed upon Jesus Christ who was sinless.
      •Jesus Christ, the Son of God was crucified for our sins.
      •Jesus Christ was buried and our sins were buried with Him to live no more.
      •Jesus Christ arose from the dead on the third day and all who believe and receive Him as Lord arose to new life with Him.
      • New life in Jesus Christ is received through faith in His death burial and resurrection, when the person repents of their sin and asks Jesus Christ to forgive their sin and wash their heart.
      Beloved seek Him, read the Bible, not the catholic Bible(deutero-canonical books)

      I also studied French in France, and even taught French in the US. It was frustrating when an ex boyfriend of mine felt the need to know more than me about things in general, often correcting me to let me know his greater knowledge, especially when he didn’t know what he was talking about. One time he corrected my French pronunciation of the wine Cabernet Sauvignon, telling me it was pronounced like Cabernet “Savignon”. I now remember why he’s an ex!

      Yes! And if enough people just use the correct pronunciation by default, eventually those lazy bones will see they are in the *minority* and self-correct. So I hope everyone keeps using correct pronunciation to convince others to also.
      Just as in fashion, just because you looked cute as a 16 year old in 1968 in a mini-skirt, even if you worked hard at keeping your figure, if you showed up in your 60s in the same style now, you'd be laughed at! This rarely happens, cos we tend to follow the herd, and safely conform, for the sake of self preservation. (Though I still hate those same women who can rock a 2-piece bathing suit... bikinis sort of never go out of style 😊)

    Completely unintentionally stumbled upon your pronunciation videos and although never actually visiting France or for that matter never requiring myself to utilise this part of my post graduate education but even though i did study french for 5 years and subsequently learned quite a lot and Furthermore i really enjoyed learning the french vocabulary and upon finding you video i now feel the need to dust off my second language and try and perfect it as im now going to book a actual stay for a few days next spring while im driving accross europe instead of the usual simple drive through to my destination. This time we are now going to veer off via paris and book into somewhere for a few days and finally put my french vocabulary to its long awaited and well overdue utilisation as per my original intention. Many thanks. From another namesake as my name even though spelled slightly different is also Julian. Once sgain Thanks

      OP Julian, (not the French one ) you really need to use more commas and full stops in a missive as long as that! I was holding my breath reading it! lol
      Not sure whereabouts in France are thinking of going but I find Alsace area really interesting ( eastern France) because they speak French slowly in that area and they pronounce every word and syllable correctly which makes it great for foreigners learning French .
      Plus the Vosges mountains is such a pretty area. Used to love driving through the Boussang pass. Really nice area.

    A little note, but in English, "silent" and "swallowed" consonants are slightly different things, where "swallowed" means it's not plosive and just kind of hanging there. It feels like the p and g in Longchamp are swallowed, where you can hear them if you are real carefully

    • @YouTubeJulien
      @YouTubeJulien  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tx for the info indeed 👍😊

    • @Rasscasse

      An interesting point this.
      I would say that the ‘g’ is swallowed but that the ‘p’ is silent.
      I think if you were to say the word slowly that the G is definitely there, but muted, whereas the P is not there at all.

    It is SO hard not to laugh or smile whenever I hear people mispronounce these brands! 😂 I was talking to a customer in one the Hermès stores at the mall and she kept calling it "HUR-MEES." It drove me crazy because not only did she sound extremely silly, but I also didn't want to hurt her feelings by laughing. I hope she stumbles upon this video someday to avoid future embarrassment, but I think it's kinda cute and funny when people are naive like that!

    • @youresoakinginit2113
      @youresoakinginit2113 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The only reason I already knew how to pronounce HERMÈS, is due to Oprah and Gayle not being allowed into a French shop too close to closing, or something.
      I don't know how even a foreign company personnel wouldn't know who Oprah is!! And that she would've not only bought herself at least one bag, but probably quite a few more for her 50 closest friends!
      😂😂😂

      Tx Emil. that's not true. There's 100 million tourists visiting France every year (well, there was at least before the lockdowns) and a lot of French people speak decent English, especially in businesses dealing with tourists, restaurants, hospitality etc. It's better if you speak French, you'll enjoy the experience deeper, but it's not true people don't speak English.
