They'll band together to form a little beaver society then invent weapons and warfare to keep away humans (ie:guns, nuclear power) and wage ware against culvert clearers
Wasn't Roman concrete found underwater off Oak Island ? Who knows if Roman's might have brought there beaver pets from home, and Roman beavers learned their techniques ?
Fun facts: Beavers can swim under water for 15 minutes with their eyes closed. Their eyelids are transparent and act as swimming goggles. Beavers mate for life, and when their partners die, they never mate again. The nocturnal beaver can build a lodge in two nights. They can fell a 5 inch diameter tree in 3 minutes.
I used your technique last night after a hail storm in my neighborhood. Leaves and hail clogged the storm drains and i cleared a foot of water covering the street.
Old Canadian here. You need a netted hat my friend Post. The sell tonnes of them at the Kapuskasing Wal-Mart. Fires are awesome to keep mosquitoes away. Believe me there were 10x the mosquitoes when I was a kid. Canada has more lakes than the rest of the world combined, it's mosquito heaven but only for a few months. Heatwave kill of mosquitoes too.
@@user-peach408 Needs to be dry heat. Humid heat wont do diddly. At least that's what we see here in Denmark/Scandinavia. We dont get heatwaves anywhere near what you guys do and they still die when it's dry.
That's one of the reasons I'm happy when summer ends. The little bastards don't deal with the cold well, so once it stays below a certain temperature, those annoyances die off for the year. I HATE the cold though, but I deal with it cause there's no mosquitos.
Beautiful flowers. Bet those mosquitoes are irritating! ♥️🪵🦫🪵🦟 🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟(Group swarms 🤢) You definitely brave the wilderness. A bath at what degree temperature? 🥶
I love watching these right before I go to bed because sometimes they put me to sleep from the running water, other times it's just so interesting that I can't go to sleep so, whatever! Great Job Rob.
Hey you were at Abitibi canyon dam north of Smooth Rock Falls Ontario. There used to be a little town by that dam called Fraserdale it was built by Ontario Hydro in the 60 s when they built Abitibi canyon and Otter Rapids and a few more in the area. There's not much left now only foundations. Hope you liked your visit in Northern Ontario
Wow this could be an excellent series, just like the culvert with sinkhole of Shearer St. back then. We're ready for the binge watching. Keep up the good work Post!
WOW! POST, FANTASTIC, AWESOME JOB 👍 Loved seeing that you opened it open again. I'm learning a lot from you. Thank you, Post, for a wonderful ride and education.
You reminded me of a canoe trip to the boundary waters in Minnesota Canada border. By day 4 everyone needed a shower, only problem was a cold front came through and it was in the mid 30's! Will never forget the feeling of the 40° water feeling warmer than the air when I dipped in for a rinse...
It was oddly satisfying to watch this video. Also learning some amazing things watching your channel. I truly appreciate it. So I must thank you.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Would be cool if you could "Post10" a game cam on a stick or something and then we could watch as the beavers go about their nocturnal rebuilding! Nice work and I really enjoy watching these, thank you...
This one beaver passing by in his truck, to other beavers: "Guys! I just found out! It is not because we are inefficient, but because of this one guy we are underpaid and overworked!"
Andddd I really enjoy seeing it come through the other side with all that debris. What a huge difference you made. I'm sure you enjoyed seeing that open up and all that flowing through. 😁👍
oh my goodness! Those rascals called in their full army to rebuild overnight! It's so pretty up there. I'd want to pick wildflowers. I can remember when cars had little vases between the front and back side windows to put flowers in. Nice touches like that aren't seen in modern cars. I love your videos! Thanks.
You definitely are about to be quite busy Fri/Saturday with the remnants of Debby coming up to the Northeast. Tons of rain expected here in Albany and NY/VT. Interesting time for us storm chasers.
🙋Hello ! Always good to see you. The llies are so beautiful ! . Enjoy the senery and away from south Ga. for a few mins. Thanks for the adventure. Great unclogging video. Though the end was cool as well. 😁🥰Praying for your safety and God bless.
Those flowers are alstroemerias - very pretty, they come in a range of colours from white, through yellow, orange, red and purple. They’re grown commercially in Europe and popular in gardens or as cut flowers, sold by florists
When I went to Canada it was recommended that I buy a bug suit. It was a suit made out of mosquito netting and pretty tough and it saved my butt from the mosquitoes and black flies. I got the jacket, the pants, and the headgear, and if I ever go back I'll wear it again.
17:14 Might be Lilium philadelphicum, and there's also a wild orchid just to the left(looks like Platanthera)!! Have you ever seen Lady Slipper Orchids up there? It would be great to see them between uncloggings!
Great video, still can't get the thought out of my mind, that he might has a twin brother that likes to collect and sample old canned food and drinks ;) Greetings from Austria
Love your videos ! Is that the same moss/algae that plagues southern tanks and ponds too, can grow from shore to 30 feet out easy ? Grass carp were imported to reservoirs all over the US to clear it out but carp ate eggs of native fish too along with clearing shrubs underwater where fish laid eggs.
Whaaat Post is in ny province???? Welcome to Canada and hope you enjoyed your time here with us! We need you in Toronto 😂 every rainstorm the city legit becomes Atlantis lately 😂
If you can tolerate apple cider vinegar drink 1/4 cup of that before working. Bonus is acv is good for your digestion also. Once you sweat it out the mosquitos will land but they won’t bite because you taste like a pickle! I found that was only thing that keeps mosquitos from biting when you are sweating.
Dude, you don't put permethrine on your skin, it'll do absolutely nothing. You spray a specified amount on your clothes and gear. That stuff is amazing, when used correctly.
Suggestion: Leave the pebbles next to the holes. Maybe they will still be there next time. I wonder, are the pipes always level? Or are they sometimes sloped? Just curious.
if post keeps proving to the beavers their techniques are flawed they are going to invent wet set concrete
Or they’ll find some discarded lengths of barbed wire to layer into the structure😂
One day

Jk.
Thanks for the interesting facts I wasn’t aware of that.

Those little scoundrels were busy overnight!
Busy as beavers, one might say

Wow, it's amazing how quickly they plugged that up again and how quickly the water raised back up too!
The Beavers. and the mosquitoes have now joined forces. against the Terminator. I love your dedication.

Wow, they really built that back in a hurry!

Keep up the nice work!
Stay safe out there.
That was so awesome to watch that come out of the culvert! Stay safe and stay healthy!
I can’t believe how bad I wanted to retain and pull that out!
It would be neat to leave a camera and watch the Beavers plug it up again.
I really liked the editing on this one! The recap snippets, fast forwarded portions, and zooms on the action shots. 10/10!
very smart with the pebble to keep bar up
Was just watching an old culvert camping video and boom!, New Post 10. 🎉
Thanks Post! 👊🏻👍🏻 Appreciate you my friend 🙏🏻
Thanks for going back the next day it really does show how industrious the Beavers are! pity they're not house builders could do with them in the UK
