    great job. your safety is paramount. chainsaws are ok, but when you become complacent, that's when things go wrong.

    Nice work. As a suggestion for the culverts that you visit multiple times, it would be nice if you did a short clip show at the end showing how the culvert looked before and after each of the previous visits, as well as the current visit.

    I want to add a note of explanation here because I live near the river. He mentioned tides. The lower half of the Hudson River is actually an estuary of the Atlantic Ocean, so it has 2 tides per day. The river flows mostly in eastern New York State, dividing New York and New Jersey and flowing into the ocean.

    I admire the way you handle a chain saw, you let the saw do the work, it always puzzled me why someone would make sawing motions using a machine that could do the work for you.

    the chainsaw was very useful, but muscle power was essentially needed. Maximum effort 💪💪💪you have probably removed 8 tons of debris, including your first unclogging. 👏👏👏👏

    What a massive task that was. You made the best decision to drain it down a bit before you hit it with the chainsaw.
    Will be interesting to see how it progresses over time and to see how the flow of the river moves more mud and sticks from the mouth of the culvert.

    Sir, as long as you take your time and think of your next step you shouldnt get injured.
    I respect the hard work you do.
    I watch a few other channels where they tear out beaver dams but never seen any of them tear out the monster tree limbs like you just demonstrated.

    I know there are beaver's and they will stop up creeks , pounds but i never knew how bad they that they stop up things until i watched you clearing out what they did, they really made a big mess, they put every stick and tree they could find to stop up the water from going through the tunnel and you have done a great job cleaning it out, you are a very strong man man to do all that work that you did may the Lord bless you 🙏

    That's an excellent job done. Surprising how much big stuff was still hidden beneath that relatively shallow water. Very wise of you to delay using the chainsaw until the final clear up.

    I've found when getting rid of dam framework pieces, bucking logs to about 3-5 foot length are usually not going to cause problems farther downstream.
    Nice job on that "Jack-strawed" mess

    even with a chainsaw that was a lot of work! Maybe I've missed it but I'd like to see the outflow part of the culvert, where all that debris is going to go.

    Good job the other day. You really knocked it down. It's much safer to use a chain saw now, which was needed for the big long stuff! A contractor would have gotten $1,500 for that work.
