Nintendo's use of DLSS A.I upscaling sounds cool. That whole developers providing their own training data from higher internal builds of the game to improve the accuracy of the Switch 2 upscale version of the game sounds smart. I you watched just a few seconds more, you would see that not only is the height of that motherboard larger than can fit in the OLED, it will fit in the Switch 2 and it shows that the Switch 2 is so much bigger: 8.1 inches (or 8.4 according to some sources) when the OLED's screen is just 7 inches.

Yeah, you've got a lot invested in the Switch already so there's no rush for you unless you want the newer Switch 2 games or to play your existing games on it. Since the Switch 2 will play almost if not all of those Switch games, because backwards compatibility has been confirmed, you're not really losing anything by switching over other than needing to purchase a new express SD card, to put your games on it, and a Switch 2 if you want to play your existing games on it.
I personally assume the Switch 2 announcement will be between mid-January and the end of March 2025. The "Now You're Playing with Power" revolution will be televised!
All this is amazing by itself, then you remember that Nintendo managed to run Super Smash Bros Brawl on a 2006 console that was half a generation behind in power and somehow made 480p look like 1080p and, later, they made Mario Kart 8 with insane graphics that still hold up 11 years later (and not only hold up, but also still look GOOD) on the Wii U and both games run at constant 60fps with barely ever a framedrop. Imagine what they could do now with NVIDIA's power, 4K and AI!!
And speaking of anticipation, as soon as the Switch 2 gets out, the first thing people will bring up is the next entry of Super Smash Bros. (Whether Mr. Sakurai is going to be at the helm this time or not.) Between that and Sakurai’s “game proposal”, there’s going to be a lot of talk about the topic. Now, to be fair, what was seen in Ultimate, not everything will be carried over. You can say which characters are likely to be cut, I’ve seen most lists and all of them are committing heresy! (Say, if I hear someone saying, “JigglyPuff is getting cut”, it’s an automatic “No!” from me. Anyone from the Smash 64 roster getting cut is an absolute crime… No matter how unpopular some are.) My anticipation is that Ultimate is fully backwards compatible while the next Smash primarily focuses on Newcomers as opposed to Ultimate’s “Everyone is here!” theme. So with the Switch 2, you’ll have the balance of both veterans and newcomers. Whoever’s not carried over into the new Smash stays in Ultimate, and whoever didn’t make the cut in Ultimate gets to appear in the new Smash. The Switch 2 will pretty much bridge this gap. (Side Note: I DON’T WANT ULTIMATE ZELDA REPLACED! Even if she does, it’d either be either OOT or TP Zelda. I just don’t want “Wild/Tears” Zelda to replace my favorite stomper! She and the “Pokémon” summoner from an entry where beds lead to the “overarching” villain’s downfall… They CANNOT replace Smash Ultimate Zelda!)
Lol! Yes, they better not replace Smash Ultimate Zelda! I think keeping the two games would be the best solution too. Keep everyone on Ultimate as is with backwards compatibility. And let's get a new Smash Bros. with newcomers.
Also because I really don't get how they could ever improve from Ultimate. That isn't just a cool name, it's really the Ultimate Super Smash Bros game, I can't even think of any imporvement that can be done, outside of the graphics and, even then, it already looks gorgeous, it doesn't even need new graphics, just better performance.

These leaks do sound promising, but the question is how will the execution turn out? Social media - Miiverse was Nintendo’s first attempt with online social interaction… It’s a social network that few have used… but everyone didn’t like it to see it go… And given the infamous reputation that the juggernauts have always had… Nintendo didn’t really necessarily WANT to compete with them… You see, it’s all Nintendo content. And whatever’s Nintendo content stays that way because if you’re caught promoting some other game entirely that goes beyond Nintendo standards… Nintendo will likely shut you down or suspend you from your social interactions… (Unless you’re promoting Among Us… No, seriously. Have you seen gameplay of Splatoon 3 and saw all those Among Us postings?) Not only that, you may be caught promoting politics, agendas, and other out-of-state propaganda… No! I don’t want any of that in my games, it should be the other way around! You see, other AAA giants encourage that… And look where that’s gotten them already… while Nintendo keeps it the barest minimum… Bottom line, that’s the fear I have when it comes to that. And it’s not just a personal problem, it’s a problem to societies overall. One mishap, and an entire nation goes nuts! UI - I’ve seen many systems UIs; some outshining others, and Nintendo hasn’t been known for innovative UIs, but they’re just so nostalgic! GameCube’s internal menu… Oh! Everyone who owns a GameCube loved how simple it was! The Wii menu is a step up, but I felt like it was missing something… Probably the GameCube aesthetics… The Wii U UI, some would argue, has the best UI Nintendo devised. It clearly outshines the Switch’s UI to this day. What I’d really like to know is will the UI be more than just a game media device? Say, what if I’d like to transfer MP3 and MP4 files? The PlayStation 3, for its time, handled the best of all worlds. Nintendo can’t miss this one, but knowing how restrictive it can be, you can’t post nor send exported content into the social network, let alone the system itself. The Xbox 360 had an awesome feature to play your own music during gameplay. Both PlayStation and Nintendo have done… none of that… and knowing this history, the Switch 2 won’t be doing the same either. System specs - Now since Day 1 of the Switch’s launch, people WANTED a beefier version of the Switch, which unfortunately never happened and lots of games continued to suffer and stutter. 2020 and onwards was the breakpoint of the Switch’s age. Fast forward 5 years later, an absolute no-show, and people have gotten fed up with the constant delays, both fans and developers alike. So after 2021, it was obvious there was no point for a “pro” model Switch. While Nintendo denies it being a “next step”, but rather an evolution, people just want a more powerful Switch that runs the existing software much more smoothly. Now there will be a trend on multigenerational games, but it probably (and hopefully) won’t last as long as how Xbox and PlayStation keep their systems alive for 12 years straight. But how well can the Switch 2 handle PS5/Xbox Series games ported over? I’ve mentioned it before, I’m not a 4K biased person. To me, 1080p is just the perfect balance of resolution. I’d rather have my settings to just exactly that. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which is a full-blown remake of the 2004 masterpiece, is currently on a 2025 release window for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. I’d love for it to come to Switch. It received a watered-down port on 3DS, and an effortless port on Switch; even after ALL those patches, I still have found issues that made me crawl back to the PS3 HD version! So having Delta on Switch 2 might be MGS3’s last chance of redemption on a Nintendo platform. Sure, there are going to be cuts, but if the game gotta run smoothly, it’s a bold risk. The point being, if we’re going to have more games for Nintendo’s hybrid, then the Switch 2 will be just the right platform. No more outdated 2015 chips… Controllers - I hope it’s not just the Joy Cons we’re getting. I’m interested in how the upcoming pro controller will look like and if the system is compatible with Switch 1 controllers. And speaking of controllers, a 2nd-screen gamepad. It may come out sometime later than anticipated, but it’s got to accommodate games from previous generations that utilized the 2nd-screen peripheral. I’d love to see it expand further, but it’s pretty much entirely up to the developers themselves with how they want their games to play. (Side Note: I noticed that in the leaked images, the two Joy Cons are blue for the left and orange for the right. Remember when the Purple/Orange and Blue/Yellow pairs came out in 2019? I always felt like they got the colors flipped around. It should’ve been Blue/Orange (in reference to the Inkling Boy and Girl in their respective colors in Splatoon 1) and Purple/Yellow (in reference to Waluigi and Wario); Nintendo didn’t really took their characters into consideration then.)
I agree! It's like you're reading my mind. These leaks are promising and you asked the question we're all thinking: "how will the execution turn out?" I expect great things from Nintendo and hope these leaks do match what we'll really see and play, but we'll see. I do like how we'll get a better UI and I like how it looks like there'll be a social network connect aspect with it, but I hope Nintendo breaks from their control on social media. It should be more like X where free speech is accepted and encouraged. 4K is great, but I agree smooth play is the most important. Hopefully their implementation of DLSS will give us the best of both! Either way, I would rather play a fun retro game with the crappiest graphics if it was fun and smooth when played than a great looking 4K game that's clunky and slow. The Joy-Con features are great, but I'd like to know more about the pro controller too. That's what I use most of the time with my own Switch. And it's about time that Nintendo finally got the colors switched around to blue/orange like as in Splatoon 1. It'll look great! I bet they'll finally get a purple/yellow combination at some point, but we'll see.

No, this is definitely not an AI voice in any way. You can hear my same voice with different quality levels of the mic in all of my videos. It is my personal voice. I work 50 hours on my non-youtube day job each week and then I work on my TH-cam videos. So, there's no way I can get videos out each day till I can replace my day job. But I will try to get a video out each will till then. I do appreciate everyone else help! And I appreciate you watching this video too! I've gotten 178 subscribers from this one video alone so far!
Yeah. Most people thought it was 8nm before till others saw the chip, but who knows. Either way, it's not going to be the most powerful system, but with the right DLSS it doesn't need to be.
I don't use blue sky. But like all Nintendo news channels, if there's anything of importance said anywhere, we'll talk about it. We won't just ignore it if a journalist uses a social media site we don't like. So, if you don't want to subscribe because of that reason, that's your choice.
@@AlkuntarGaming yeah I don't use Bluesky, Twitter, Threads, Facebook, or any of those corporate social medias either.. I personally use Mastodon, but I am going to say it is smart to use whatever legitmate sources you can find to back up any claims.. and in this day and age.. sadly those social medias are still valid sources of information.
No more outdated 2015 chips…
Controllers - I hope it’s not just the Joy Cons we’re getting.
I dunno, your track record for this stuff is pretty bad.
I'm not leaking anything. I just report what others have found. I didn't have time to put the sources up on the description last night when I finished this like I have my other videos, but I'll have the sources out tomorrow and you can click on all of the links to read the same information.
can we just get mario galaxy 3
I'm hoping for it too!
please change background music.. doesnt fit at all
Thanks for letting me know! I work on the background music selection for my next video.
I think the music is 10/10. Xenoblade X is my all-time favorite game, so I'm vibing. ThemeX is no joke.
Overtime day job.....so this isn't an AI voice??
No, this is definitely not an AI voice in any way. You can hear my same voice with different quality levels of the mic in all of my videos. It is my personal voice.
I work 50 hours on my non-youtube day job each week and then I work on my TH-cam videos. So, there's no way I can get videos out each day till I can replace my day job. But I will try to get a video out each will till then.
I do appreciate everyone else help! And I appreciate you watching this video too! I've gotten 178 subscribers from this one video alone so far!
Nintendo pc
Digital foundry said it's a 8nm. I say wait until NINTENDO officially release the device. LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS
Yeah. Most people thought it was 8nm before till others saw the chip, but who knows. Either way, it's not going to be the most powerful system, but with the right DLSS it doesn't need to be.
Not subscribing, you use blue sky. Really stupid to use this as a source for anything.
So I can understand using Bluesky as a source. Even if I hate the social media.
