Hold on, did i read this right? You picked the range topping model for each brand and then selected the base version zx10r?
    M1000RR : £31 000
    CBR1000RR R SP : £23 500
    YZF R1M : £22 500
    Panigale V4 SP : £32 000
    RSV4 Factory : £23 000
    Suzuki GSXR-1000R : £17 000 (cheapest by far)

A better Rotational mass may have made a difference of how well the bike handles at least. And considering the standard ninja you used is almost half the price of 3 of these bikes I think that should be taken into consideration of value for money.

I own a 2017 Tuono 1100 factory and I love it but honestly, Ducati bikes are much more special and better put together.
And the biggest con for the Aprilia they just don't have the parts available worldwide and you can possibly wait for few months till you get the parts you need, which will be a big issue especially if you're planning to make it a track bike.

First things first, the Aprilia SMACKS the Duck on track. Last track test I saw it was over half a second faster per lap, and that's being down on claimed power AND heavier. Ape is 100% the way to go for track days. Same way the Tuono smacks the V4 Streetfighter in handling and power til 10k rpm

    • @Fearless154
      @Fearless154 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@Jay-yg8jj Depends on who you ask, Stock trim rsv4 1100 is easier to ride fast and make better lap times, but the Panigale v4 2020+ model is a far more capable bike with higher potential, the electronics are much better on Ducati, and that the v4r chassis is a far better one.
About Tuono vs SF v4 like legit in any track test from MCN to 44 teeth, SF4 was a much faster bike on the track but Tuono is nicer on the street because of its torquey nature but SF v4 torque delivery is highly restricted in the first 2 gears, flashed SF v4 feels just as torquey but with much higher top-end power.

I love " who signed off on that? ", great point indeed. Engine heat, and how much of it cooks the rider, was never mentioned in this review. This critical assessment, within the comfort category, has to be included if your are ranking "sport bikes on the road". After years of roasting my nuts on superbikes with undertail exhausts, I had enough. That's why the 2018 GSXR1000 is my current ride. In addition to having a stellar front end, potent torque everywhere, and comfortable ergonomics, IT RUNS COOL. Trust me. I do have to disagree with this list. I work at a motorcycle dealership and i can give my two cents.
    1. Everyday riding is about the heat of the engine, brakes bite, suspension comfort, leaning forward on the handlebars, and the controls such as the TFT screen and so on. If you have ridden in traffic and around town, than you would understand. The everyday rider does not hit corners everytime they ride.
The Ducati cannot be the winner. It is hot to the touch everytime you ride it, suspension is firm, you are leaning to far forward compared to the others, you wasted more gas as well. No one can actually ride this bike everyday. Its too much.

@@pherron7471 That wasn't my point though. I ride an Aprilia Tuono myself and agree that nakeds are generally better suited for road use.
Earlier generations of the Fireblade always had amazing engines for road-use but lacked the top-end to be competitive on track. The newest gen is a weapon on track but not a good road bike anymore. If you ever get to test-ride a newest gen Fireblade, you'll understand. Other manufacturers definitely manage this split better.
PS: I own an Aprilia, a Harley aswell as a Suzuki (and currently looking for a previous gen Fireblade), so I'm definitely not a brand snob or fanboy by any means.

I'm just 21 (yes i think that's young), and I've ridden R1,CBR1000RRR-SP, ZH2, Ducati Panigale V4, Daytona 675r, R6, Ninja ZX 10, ninja Zx6, Ninja 300, RE 350,Himalayan,650s, t100, and speed triple, i had owned a R1, but sold it for other reasons and investments, and got a cycle instead of the bike, and now i am looking forward to getting a Trident 660 , or the Triumph Speed triple, cuz even after riding all i have ridden, ( even been to track a few times) is that no matter what, 200hp is not needed , and all these bikes are great, these 200hp r1s , Panigales, e.t.c, are pretty useless from ergonomics, useless low end, in the street what i suggest is the street triple, or the speed triple .
      Cuz :
Such a beautiful sound , the exhaust sound changes as the rev increases , from sophisticated in the low to the roaring in the high ,
Mechanically (a mechanical engineer here) , and as a bike enthusiast, 3 Cyls are the best when it comes to power delivery, low end torque + top end rush , and due to triumphs T-plane crankshaft (perfect secondary balance) this thing revs very high for a engine that size , and reaches redline quicker than any I4...
I've plenty experience, owned an R1 (sold last year and got a cycle), r6, zx 10r, the busa, Zh2, RSV4, panigale, cbr 1000, and z900 , daytona 675, street triple 675RS,
(owned all these for a while and traded these ) RE bikes, and what not , but i find three cyls the best among inline 4s and 2s (Vs are better ). (Except some radicals i4s ).

I also sold my Desmosedici to invest in Bitcoin a few years ago (the bitcoins are now worth 32 million USD).
