  • In this episode of the Trident 660 build series, we install and review the Evotech Performance folding levers. OEM levers on motorcycles serve their purpose but usually aren't the best looking. In the event of a drop they often snap and bend as well. These Evotech Performance folding brake and clutch levers fix both of those issues! They fold up in the event of a drop to prevent damage to the lever and are a great looking replacement for your stock levers!

    Just fitted mine, was a lot easier than I thought. I was concerned about the clutch side but having adjusted the tension a bit tighter afterwards the bike now pulls away sharper than before and feels way better 👍. Triumph trident 660🇬🇧

      How do you like them so far? Does it have different adjustments for the clutch? Shorter travel pull?

    The gold spacer is not coming out as easily as this video made it look. Any tips? I've tried hammering, heat, cold...

    • @MotoMachines
      @MotoMachines  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately I am not sure of any tips, ours came out extremely easily. I would be careful with the application of heat and cold but usually that's enough to make it go.

    I can't get the nut at the bottom side out from the cluth lever. It just spins in place and will not lossen up or tighten up. Looked for answers online, but nothing useful available. Is cutting it off the only option?

    • @MotoMachines
      @MotoMachines  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You shouldn't have to cut it off. It should just break free. You need to use a screwdriver/wrench at the same time like in the video to break the nut loose. Try twisting the flathead at the same time against the wrench to try and get it to catch. If it doesn't come off after that, you might need to use a pair of vice grips to hold the nut in place than use the flat head to remove the top bolt.
