I love this game it’s just unfortunate that it’s so bare in content cause the physics are great
I have fond memories of this game, but I also remember none of my friends liking it. However, this was the Mx vs. ATV that I was by far the most skilled at. I had many lap times in the top 1000s on almost every track. There was a learning curve that I don’t think a lot of people were too fond of because it was much more stiff than Reflex. Online racing was incredibly competitive at this games peak. I had some battles with some of the top guys many times. I downloaded it recently just to try it all out again and felt that same abrasive learning curve all over again.
I remember doing max laps js7 proloop with the fastest riders online , that was really fun.
Sick to see some Mx Alive content! This was by far my favourite of the Mx vs Atv series when it came to the physics, especially in the air, It felt like you actually had weight to the bike unlike Reflex. There is a massive learning curve with how the bike reacts, let alone every bike feeling and acting different. Straight from the start you have to turn off the traction control corner assist shit and the wack rider animation in the menu lol. Then have to grind to level 46 or whatever it was so you could get the scrub master and clutch master perks to even be able to go half fast, so I can understand why alot didn't like it. There wasn't that many tracks or content and we totally got scammed with their dlc promises, but for a half price game, for what it was worth, it was JS7 classy. I made hundreds of solid friends online over a few years of playing online and had some of the craziest battles with the fastest. I loved it that much that I became one of the fastest with all of my lap times being in the top ten on every bike on Xbox. If you said your gamertag from way back online i'd probably remember you haha
After Alive, Mx Supercross Encore, the physics in my opinion turned to shit and went in the wrong direction and made me sad lol

I just commented this but I met one of my best friends from my childhood that passed away recently on this game, we would spend HOURS playing this game all day and night, we’d do tournaments, we’d go online and get out of the free ride maps and play tag, the memories are endless. It seriously makes me cry when I go to play it now because all I can think of are some of my most favorite memories are on it with him and now we’ll never get to play it together anymore. It’s literally the best moto game ever made in my opinion and legends reminds me of it a little bit to be totally honest, I hope they use this as a model for future improvements
It was my favourite mx vs atv series game and i expended many hours in my teenage. I remember to ride my yz 450 for hours and hours. Thats so nostalgic...
I love this game. I've been playing the MX and MX vs ATV series since I began gaming on Playstation 1, then PS2, then Xbox 360, One and now Series X. Of all of them, I always felt like Alive had, by far, the most realistic physics, and that still holds true to this day in my opinion. I had like 99% of the DLC bikes and maps in this game back in the day, and was a little heart broken when I couldn't rip it up on my KTM's anymore, or tear up the JS compound after redownloading a couple weeks ago.
Also, Windham, I would swear I remember watching your MX vs ATV videos years and years ago.
Needed stock supercross tracks and a better unlocking system. I personally would've enjoyed more graphics kits with sponsors on them as well. Great graphics and gameplay, but I felt they desperately needed a more in-depth game to live in.

just so everyone knows you can redownload your DLC as long as you are on your original 360 account where you bought the DLC. there are mx pro lobbies almost every night. some of the fastest guys ever are still on and ripping. download this shit and hop in! **xbox specifically**

I grew up on untamed, but this has always been my absolute favorite. I’ve spent tons of time playing alive, and it’s the game that got me really into motocross.
For me I had the most fun with this game. Mx Unleashed and Untamed were such a blast aswell
After losing the disk and my Xbox 360 taking a dump, I’m super glad to hear that it’s on the newer consoles now. My all time favorite mx game

If you're playing on the same account that you owned the DLC on, you can still download the DLC if you go to manage game and add ons, it should be in the ready to install slot. I had the slide rock canyon dlc and it works on xb1

Alive was the first game I ever got a Platinum Trophy on. So, it's one of my favorites. I don't know how good it really is, since I was around 15 when it came out. But, I know I had a lot of fun playing it.
It's really solid. It's better than I usually give it credit for. I just needed to put more time into it.
I think I dove into Alive partially because I was late on the Reflex train. By the time I played it, Alive was already on its way. I didn't put the time into Reflex back then. Also, I just saw that there is a new release date for Legends. June 28th.

You could do some sick whips in this game. I used to free ride around the sand dunes compound throwing sick whips for hours. Game needed a few more tracks though.
Yea the game had some sick tracks on it. I loved listening to the sick tracks while doing sick whips and even getting myself sick by auto-fellaciating myself on a daily, sick basis.

This was the first MX game I got and i loved it and played the shit out of it the game feels smooth and crisp and flow's so well

I've had alot of fun going back and playing this game, it's just too bad I cant play with any of the dlc. Stewart was the main attraction of the game and you can't even play his compound. RIP THQ

Honestly this game looks to be holding up a lot better than I was expecting it to. The graphics are pretty good and the physics honestly look the closest to Reflex we've gotten since then

This game was really sick, and as a kid I had no problem grinding for new stuff. It definitely got old after a long time. The DLC was sick tho. Just really really lacking content compared to reflex

i always wanted to play this game bcs of the stewart compound . bought it and didnt got the code for the compound .. i was ultra sad and now i cant play in the stewart compound bcs idk why
Well I got the game a long time ago on me PS3 and afterwards I waited for my chance to buy the DLC on the PS3 version and what I realized Is that only the PS3 version has the dlc Available as of Right Now

I think Alive had the best all around physics but the content in the game (tracks) lacked which ruined it
Why can’t I do flips?
You need to use the stunt modifier button. For me, it was right bumper. Hold that down while you flick the stick up then down.
why was legends release date pushed?
I just saw the tweet from MX vs ATV. Looks like they just wanted a little more time to get the game completely polished.

I didn't really like Alive, personally my favorite MX vs ATV's are Reflex and Untamed. I wish Legends were as good as them 😊

I'm always bothered by the "is this game still good?" thing. Yes, it is....a game cant go from good to not good....if a game is good.......its good, time can't change that
An older game can become outdated and no longer enjoyable as it once was. The game can still be good for the time it was popular but not when it's become seasoned with the new releases and updated mechanical enhancements.
@@hps69 in those cases its not that the game went from good to bad, its that it went from bad to bad but we didn't notice it was bad before because we hadn't seen better
Yeah I can tell you didn't get very good at it. A lot more speed to be had watching your gameplay.
It was hard to figure out, it took me 6 months of hardcore playing almost everyday to be able to podium almost every race online. There were about 5 other guys who were way faster than me. I think they were cheating.
