This game had some of the best physics I have ever played in a motocross game. The riding in this video is shit but this was the first game you could really apply real motocross techniques into the game and have it work! The suspension, the whipping, the engine sounds, and the actual way you could position the rider in the air and corners could really allow you to flow like no other motocross game. I still play this game to this day on my PS3 with my friends, some of my best times with this game was doing little tournaments split screen riding our favorite bikes and having heated battles for hours! It was the perfect way to relax after a day at the track. I was hoping with the sequel that they would give us more content 😩 this game was lacking in that so badly and an actual career mode in suppercross and outdoors. Update the riders and gear, maybe give some better customization on the dirt bikes such as frame color and change more parts on the bike, actual brand bikes without purchasing them and maybe a custom track builder like you have in the skateboarding video games. All hope was lost when suppercross came out.. I play mx GP now but it will never have that fast paced race action like alive did. It was so close to being the perfect game if it just had more content

Does anyone else find it ironic that he states that the games offers a lot of content several times yet complains that it's not enough for the price tag. Yet MW2 and BC2 come out with a 3 - 4 player campaign and only a handful of maps but no one complains?

fuck anything anyone has said or reviewed mx vs atv alive is so terrible they marked it at 40 bucks. it had nothing to do with how confidate they were in the game or anything. it simply sucked and they released it the way it was. after having several succesful games, it is obvious that this was incomplete. reflex was incredible and almost revolutionary, it was lacking in a few areas but i enjoyed it more than any other motox game. Alive was so bad. i sold it the day i purchased it

CoD is like every other generic shooter out there. Just like this is like every other generic bike racer out there. I expect a little more for my $60 thanks.
@jameschandler74 it doesnt have the symbol because it doesnt work half as good as the unleased series. I remember being able to pre-load just perfect over the jumps. Now its all gone to shit. The more videos i see , the more and more it just looks like a newer version of reflex.
why not make a completely realistic 99% realistic motocross game? i am a motocross rider, and have been riding since i was five, now i am fifteen, and i have been waiting for a real realistic mx game since ever!
is feel like this could of been one of the best games in the franchise if it only had a shit ton or more content like career mode at least 8 supercross tracks and more bikes to choose from

Also want to add. Before pushing start to start the race, let the tips make their rounds because that's the only help you're going to get. And it tells you important stuff you're going to need to know to even compete, on top of some other tid bit info that's nice to know. Game is actually pretty fun! Happy racing!
I'm a huge Mx vs Atv fan but Its hard to choose for me but I love all of them I think Alive was the best I really don't know how I chose it but I like Alive's free play and races Them both make the game the best! AND HYDRO PLANING!!! But still...
@Muffdiverboy reflex does have pre load man, you just hold down the right analogue stick on the up ramp of a jump and let go at the top, it just doesnt ahve a little symbol like unleashed, which is my fav mx vs game.

Piff mx superfly was the best game,then they changed to BS MX madness style random hills in a sandbox, it was just boring all the tracks feel the same
looks like instead of having more tracks to race, they spent more time making sure to put brand names in it such as PRO TAPER, ONE INDUSTRIES, etc...
@obsceneCreation its actually a lot better. bike speeds are more realistic and a far less amount or HUGE jumps. The tracks are much more realistic.

On reflex for xbox the tire tracks dissapeared as you made more but on ps3 the stay forever ps3 rules

IMO this looks a lot cheaper than reflex. :/ Kind of a let down, so I'm not going to buy it.

THQ is by far the best multi-platform Publisher. Way better than EA or Activision.
