    I really like that you listed in stock items, and tried to stay within budget but the stock intel cooler is sooo bad, I would have got a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo at least, they are currently 34 bucks on newegg but consistantly go on sale for ~$25.. I would even go as far as saying ditch the cable extentions to get a cooler if someone reading this is on a very strict budget

    I would've saved money from the custom cables and LED strips and just bought a cheap tower cooler instead. Something like a Deepcool Gammax or a Hyper 212. It'll keep the 10400's temps cooler than the stock CPU fan even if it isn't an unlocked chip. It'd look a lot better too, aesthetic-wise, since tower coolers have LED fans.

      @@brother_farhan yeah, i think he is saying instead of paying extra for RGB, and unnecessary cables, he would rather use it to improve thermals inside the case. Therefore, it wouldn't really be a price difference. And the chip shortage really only affects GPUs.

    • @biiyen8458
      @biiyen8458 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brother_farhan The chip shortage doesn't really affect the coolers. And again if you total the cost of both the custom cables and LED strips you'll have enough to buy a tower cooler.

      This might be a dumb question to ask but I’m new to all this. What are some CPU’s that are better than the one he showed in the video. I might do this build with a better intel cpu and a better cpu cooler. So if you have some recommendations for CPU’s under $300(also compatible with this build) I would really appreciate it.

    during the time this video was uploaded i had been messing around with cpu overclocking even though had the stock fan. I'd also been having RAM POST inconsistencies. When I started the computer up the ram wouldn't POST, so I took the sticks out and cleaned the ports and stuff (which seemed to be the issue). Then the cpu wouldn't post, so I unplugged everything and cleared the system of any voltage, then jumped the CMOS reset pins. Booted right into bios, noticed my boot drive light wasn't flashing at all, so I changed some setting I found on the internet and it fixed everything. I open up windows and see a new Joey Delgado video. Perfect day lol.
