I have seen a video setting the RAM at 3600 MHz with an i3-10100F on a B560 motheboard. If you look at my channel you will see my video activating XMP @ 3200 MHz with my 10400F and my B560 motherboard.
Would you recommend Powercolor RX 6600 Hellhound? Seems it has a great temperature and works perfectly but not so sure about the brand. The thing is the ASUS rtx 2060 is the same price as that powercolor 6600 in my country, so if this brand isn't a good option then i will buy the rtx 2060

Yes it can fit perfectly, there is a 5 FPS (approx) of difference between pciE 3.0 and 4.0 (in this case), so its not worth the upgrade, at least with that combo

I have a RTX 3050, similar to 2060, and I can say the same as Shadowseven, DLSS is useless because the image quality is terrible when you activate it. RX 6600 will give you more FPS. And you can stream or record with 6600, it has video encoder. I bought the 3050 just because it's cheaper in my country, 274€ the 3050 vs 370€ the RX 6600.

10400F CPU used on this video is not PCI-E 4.0 compatible, so he was playing on PCI-E 3.0. Don't worry, RX 6600 has 8 PCI lanes that provide enough bandwidth to run well, so you can play with PCI-E 3.0 and the performance will be almost the same as on PCI-E 4.0. Yeah you need 16gb of ram to fully utilize these parts, I got a prebuild with the same exact specs but it only has 8gb of ram. At first I got very stuttery low fps on fortnite, destiny 2 and spex so I wiped pc which did fix the stuttering but i noticed that the ram is bottlenecking it ALOT, so next month I'm gonna get 16gb which should fully give me the fps shown here , I have a 480gb nvme btw.

I have a near identical setup, i5 10400F, 2x8gb, 6600 XT, Corsair cv550 PSU, games are on an HDD. All i get in Fortnite is around 150 FPS, even in performance mode and all settings at it's lowest. What could be my bottleneck? I had a 6600 earlier like you and it even looks like the 6600 gave me slightly better FPS in Fortnite compared to the 6600 XT.
tbh fortnite is very poorly optimized for amd cards try running it on dx12 that can sometimes give more fps then peformance for some weird reason u could also try different drivers

@@Stardustwithabeard I had RX6600XT Nitro+. In my build gpu was pretty loud and hot, also I got driver issues so I had to install older ones which were working fine. I ended up returning it and I'm waiting for RTX3060 now. I had RX470 like 4 years with 0 issues.

Also I got to say nvidia have a bit better drivers from my exp. I had 6600xt, 6650xt and 6700xt but due to problems with performance or coil whine I ended up returning to 3060.

From what i used and heard because i currently use both it bottle necks at 1080p max settings by 24% still a good combo i do recommend you get 16 dual ram could help ALOT because i used to only use 8 gb but its a huge upgrade to invest towards but it should be decent if you want 100 or more FPS in terms of gaming :)

I have noticed that many games have some graphic options that drops the FPS very much, usually the texture filtering options, or the MSAA antialiasing. For example I was playing Rise Of the Tomb Raider max settings at 40 FPS, and just disabling one graphic option I got 80 FPS or more. Maybe Fortnite has one of those gpu-hyper-demanding options.

Hello, did You notice any stutters with 10400 while gaming? I red some reddit posts complaining about stutters on pcie gen3 blaming 8lane gpu, but imo it was their faulty system really... I have simillar config and thinking about 6600xt but got scared a bit :D
Did you find out ? Should I go for this combo or with rtx2060
@@Stardustwithabeard I had RX6600XT Nitro+. In my build gpu was pretty loud and hot, also I got driver issues so I had to install older ones which were working fine. I ended up returning it and I'm waiting for RTX3060 now. I had RX470 like 4 years with 0 issues.

@@kshitizmishra-u1b honestly I can't recommend any rx6600/6650xt because of 8 lanes of pcie. I'd rather get a 3060 12gb or look for RX6700 10gb - both having full 16 pcie lane. Also I got to say nvidia have a bit better drivers from my exp. I had 6600xt, 6650xt and 6700xt but due to problems with performance or coil whine I ended up returning to 3060.

From what i used and heard because i currently use both it bottle necks at 1080p max settings by 24% still a good combo i do recommend you get 16 dual ram could help ALOT because i used to only use 8 gb but its a huge upgrade to invest towards but it should be decent if you want 100 or more FPS in terms of gaming :)

I have noticed that many games have some graphic options that drops the FPS very much, usually the texture filtering options, or the MSAA antialiasing. For example I was playing Rise Of the Tomb Raider max settings at 40 FPS, and just disabling one graphic option I got 80 FPS or more. Maybe Fortnite has one of those gpu-hyper-demanding options.
