- ...and my inner 12 year old self is yelling at the top of his lungs throughout.
This guitar came out about 3 years ago now and it's been amazing seeing it go to stores and to see it in the hands of so many talented people. Having GC pick it up for all their US stores and in turn my hometown stores being a big highlight. I spent countless hours in this store as a kid playing guitars and other instruments. So this is all very surreal. Thanks for supporting my music and my channel.

Don't compare or shame yourself, does you no good as a musician. Believe in yourself and keep practicing, keep jamming.
The thing I like the most here, is that he's playing rhythm for his fans to play over him. That's a level of humility you don't see in many celebrities these days, and it's great and inspiring to see.
I've only just started watching you but every video I've seen so far just cements that fact more and more.

I'm 43 years old and I got to know your channel like 30 minutes ago. I haven't even heard your music, except what is played in this video. My guitar heroes are from another era, and they were as far as me as the stars are to the humanity. I was moved to tears to see how you approach your fans. I really wish the guys I used to idolize back then had this kind of access to technology and demeanor to the fans. You've earned one more fan today.

Go look up some Tommy Emmanuel and what he does after concerts...some of them flat out rock, the way they treat their fans...some, probably not so much. And they don't get much 'realer' than Tommy. This is why I love working at a music store. You get to jam out with people that are basically brethren to you (especially kids). At one point last year there was a little boy who stuck out. He was around 12. Every single day after school he drove his bike down to the store and just looked around. My boss thought he was suspicious and was bothered by his presence. I on the other hand let him roam. He was so pulled in by the Ibanez sr505 in the back at the bass section. I Told him he could play anything he wanted. He just said “I don’t really play”. I asked him his name and he said Christian. But I just call him Chris. I could tell he wasn’t very fond of money. One night I walked up to greet him. I asked “ya like that bass”. He said it would be his dream to have one. I asked him what music he liked. He said all he had were old metallica, korn, and slipknot cd’s. I told him to keep them make sure they stay in hood condition. I was just trying to do the average music store employee small talk. And I saw a grin hit his face for probably the first time. I was clocking out at the back to go home (just me him and 2 other workers in the store). I heard the amp fire up and heard the bass going. I knew it was him. He was very good for someone who had played one other time. I couldn’t help but shed a tear after I closed up shop that night. And last Christmas me and my buddy (another worker) saved our money and bought him that Ibanez. We showed up to his house Christmas Day and he knew who it was for. He just broke down in tears of happiness. Every now and then he’ll come down to the store and play. Just the other day he was rocking some Gojira. He was talking about joining/starting a band and I told him to go for it. Christian. You’ll know who you are. If you’re watching this video and see this comment I want you to know how much of an inspiration you are to the whole store and everyone that works there

I met 3 followers of my channel out fishing the same day and it was one of the most humbling experiences I've ever had. I was so grateful for their views and I really hope they realized that. To know that I've brightened someone's day just by a simple video that I didn't expect anyone to watch is priceless.

I once had a show with my old band when I was 18 and a guy came after the show saying how sick it was and what an amazing time he had and wanted to take a picture with me. I felt so honoured and amazed. Cant imagine how you must have felt.

That must have been so sureal for you. From the age of 12 dreaming of buying a guitar to seeing your signiture guitar for sale. The note you added was a wondeful display of humility in seeing your name accompanying a guitar for sale. I love your pursuit of knowledge of music. You’re basically playing E major or any scale that consists of E.
It means that the guitar is tuned to E standard. Which is the way most guitar are tuned

Absolutely the wrong answer. He passed up on a life time opportunity to to play Robs guitar for Rob. Wouldn’t have mattered if he sucked Rob would have given him a lesson.
Been watching Rob since before even Metal Mad Libs. I absolutely love the journey that Rob has taken and to see where he is now and remaining so humble the whole time. I love you, Rob. You're such a wholesome icon.
