- The seven systems shared in this video are ways they keep us poor, or broke. By watching this video you will never be poor or broke again and you will be able to achieve financial independence. From how you manage that to your lack of financial education to consumerism to not use or a budget and living up to societal expectations, there are many ways that you will remain poor. But you will never be poor again if you manage debt to include student loans, credit card debts, mortgages and car loans better, if you use budgets to manage your expenditure of your income and to set financial goals, if you show restraint and more or less had not start a death spiral, if you limit consumerism and invest at least 50% of your income, use in real estate, investment, business, investment, investment in portfolio, income, investment in stocks, investment in bonds, and if you get financial education or financial literacy and understand that you cannot save to be rich, but you must invest a portion of your income, and that you must create emergency funds and retirement funds to build and preserve your wealth.

Recently lost a lot and starting to pull my life together and I’m living by these strategies - they worked wonders.
I should be a millionaire in the next 3 - 5 years at this rate.
Only thing - money is not everything.
1) ensure you set up to get to heaven when you leave this earth.
2) ensure you take care of your health.
3) Plan time to enjoy and celebrate life and loved ones including family.
4) use some of what you have to help others like this lady has setup a fund.

I wasn't born poor, but my family became poor after my parents split up. That's why it irritates me when solidly middle class people call themselves poor. If you have never been actually poor, you have no idea what poverty really is. And you're so right, when you start out poor you have nowhere to go but UP! I remember when I was starting out, I said I'm not afraid for the lights to get cut off because I've lived in the dark before. I'm not afraid to have my car repossessed because I walked for years. All I knew was I wanted a different life and I had to sacrifice the security of a steady paycheck to achieve that. I was not afraid of losing because I already knew how to survive the bottom. All I could see was UP!

This video is truly awakening for me. I am 24 years old and have lost everything in my life. I went from having an apartment with my ex fiancé then 2 years later we broke up and he kicked me out. I was also in college at the time and depended on him but luckily the college gave me a room and a job on campus. After that everything went down hill for me but that’s a long story.
I am a women who has no money and couldn’t even continue college college, now I’m living in my new boyfriends parents house and 3 hours away from my family. Life has just been shit for me especially when I had a car accident and cut my wrist by accident which led to losing an artery. I just had many unfortunate events and it just never ends. I am tired of being broke and feeling like a charity case. I hope soon that will change .

Good tips . I did pretty good , retired now. Also, we learn a lot of this from our parents if we are LUCKY. It seems like most young people run around and spend their money at stores or now the internet. My grandmother told me save just a dollar, something anything and that was when I was Sixteen. It is very easy to start young, Automatically put that little extra aside. Easy !!!! Schools should teach kids about money and budgets etc… At least in high school they taught us how to fill out a check and figure out a checkbook. But they need to teach us much, much more. Hi Odetye, I found your video at 3:30am trying to figure out my way out of poverty. There are so many of us out here trying to be financially independent or rich but a turn of bad luck keeps sending us back down the dark pit of poverty. I have tried so many ventures but for some reason I can’t seem to land that one thing that will make me rich. You talk about the get rich quick schemes and I have been a victim of that. I have tried Cash Plus, world wise, nutritional schemes like herbal life, symmetry and others. Tried buying and selling but just can’t quite get it. The latest thing I have tried is uprooting my life and migrating only to find myself living in poverty. It’s depressing and it’s only my faith in God is saving me.
