Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.

Depending on your paycheck and your fixed expenses, this can be done pretty quickly. There are plenty of people in my circle who manage to do this. It's not unrealistic if you earn reasonable wages and live well within your means. Personally, I monthly save a third of my paycheck and putting this amount aside within a year would be pretty manageable for me. And I'd still have some fun money left. But I'm also aware that not everyone is that fortunate.

I started investing in stocks, and honestly, I keep hearing so many mixed opinions about asset allocation. Some people swear by ETFs and index funds because of the broad market exposure, but then others bring up how underperforming stocks within them can drag down overall returns. It’s got me thinking should I be more selective with my choices, too? Since I’m focused on hitting financial independence early, I wonder if being selective now is smart, or if I’m just overthinking this thing

    • @SaraNisha1

I can relate to your concerns. I’m approaching retirement myself, and after starting late with investing, I initially thought my ETF portfolio would carry me through. But it wasn’t growing fast enough, and I felt stuck. It wasn’t until I worked with a financial advisor and restructured everything that I finally felt on track. Now, I’m set to retire with around $4 million, without that guidance, I don’t think I’d feel nearly as confident

The trick is to create priorities. Debts, Bills, savings then self. You can move these around depending on interest rates but your "pocket money" should always be last. You struggle at first but once collective debt goes down, the end of the chain increases. I went from 30 a week pocket money to 100. I did t even notice as i was more fixed on clearing that debt.

An example is your savings goal itself can be $700 in 6 months, weekly you’d put aside maybe $25-$30 a week into savings.

Yeah that's hard for many people who are working on minimum wage jobs or just over it. Also depending on where you live, and how your bills are set up in ratio to your paycheck. On avg, the regular person who may be trying to save money can only do between 1-6%, equal to a 401k, or are trying to recoup funds may go up to 10% of their check, but again that's if they have it as disposable income that can be set aside without having to touch it for extras. It can be difficult. I am personally trying 10% every pay period. It can be difficult especially with gas & grocery prices right now.🙏

The first few months up to now my paychecks were coming at times that had me behind on my bills but this month I’ll be caught up and have about 4 $2k that won’t have to go toward bills up to December. When handled correctly I will have close to $8k by December. This is on $17/hour by the way, I also work 12 hours 5 days a week. If you have the willpower to do it, it can be done.
