This is the fourth episodes for building a solar tracker. In this episode we take a closer look at mounting the solarpanels. Website: www.solartracke...
Very nice job! i did my dual axis solar tracker in 2017 with 2 linear actuators as well. In my first prototype i tried to work with a sensor array but it didn't like cloudy weather and there was condensation in the transparent box.... Finaly, i found an algorithm running on arduino nano to calculate the position of the sun (i don't care of the clouds anymore!) and i use linear actuators with feedback position. The position of the tracker is not as accurate as with the sensor array (but it works well anyway), so, i am thinking of a v3 with a rotating mecanic system for the azimuth. Just a note, you should connect the metal frame and the inverter to earth (if you haven't already) safety first!
Hi dear. Do you need a code for Arduino or PIC microcontroller? My Arduino code have a LCD display that shows ADC readings about North position, South position, Est position, and West position, also ACD 2 voltage readings from battery and panel, ok? If you needs I can send it to you, ok? Bye.
Nice series, just watched all your videos. Hopefully you have more to come. Thank you!

Wow. That's nice video. Im excited to see the part 5 & 6. Goodluck
Good Demonstration Sir...episode 5 ...thank you Sir..
hello Gunther,
nice job i like it ! i'll try to do the same but for 8 panels
have a nice day
Thierry
Hi Gunther I'm not pushing but have you any idea when episode 5 is coming.
Kind regards Bo
Hi mister when your next video is coming to be prepared ?
Thanks
Come to follow step by step.Unfortunately I don't have a home page for solar panels, except for the roof of the house that is available
So good ! But where is the next videos ? 😊
I'am working on it. Making the solar trackers is easy but the youtube video's is hard.
hello, your videos are fine, parry against since the tutorial No. 3 there are more subtitles c is a shame. good day
can you please provide the simulation model of this project, it would be very great sir
Please add the video about programming
Any update? measured performance, problems, ...
:-(
I think project failed because no update if passed pls do update us
Hi Gunther...still waiting for the code

@@sandrosachser Thank you for the reply..Yes, i need it...i will really appreciate if you can send it to bayboy080@gmail.com ...thank you very much
