  • This is the first episode in a series how i build my first practical solar tracker. This episode is about the metal frame.
It has two Eurener solar panels of 260 watt each.
works on four photoresistors to track the sun.
It moves on two linear actuators 12 volt DC.
With the use of limit switches the tracker can stop at certain points.
On my website solartrackerdiy.com you can find more information.
    Thank you for watching

I think that you project is very interesting.
I want to craft a two assys solar follow but using arduino for the controll.
Your metal support is very interesting and I want to duplicate, thankyou for your support you are very skilled person and valuable.
Thank so muck for your cad file, there isen't all the piaces but I draw by myself.

Hello, thx for the video and showing us this interesting project to build a solar tracker 👍
Can you tell me for what are the roles at 4:30min in the video? I have never seen that you use it anywhere.

How many degrees total can you rotate to follow the sun?

hello, i'm very impresive about your project, actualy i'm looking for to construct the same dual axis solar tracker, my question is: your model is enough strong to hold 8 panels or this frame must be reenforced?
also is it possible to get all entire plans and electronics and linear motors specifications?
    thank you for your answer
    best regards

ps: sorry for my bad English, i'm French speaking and i try to do my best ;)

Lineair actuators that i use arend strong enough for 8panels. And it's not easy to find the right ones.
