amazing your talking about that inter rotor, 50 years ago i was sure my flat track TS-250 didn't have a heavy flywheel. i remember the shop mechanic working on the ignition without the wheel. haven't seen or heard anyone mention that device besides you now, thought i was mistaken glad to see i was correct. great device are they still easy to purchase.
Kevin thank you so much for you video, I am fixing to start the same job to replace the lower rod bearing on a 1972 TS90. Do you believe my TS90 case to be about the same as the TS125 one?
Hey Kevin, What an informative videos. I have the same bike and I wanna ask if I still need to put the reed valve guides? I bought a dual stage carbon fiber reed petals. The seller told me that it's okay to not put the guides but I am worried that I might break the carbon fiber petals in a short period of time as it will bend further than usual. Thanks
The reed valve guide prevents the Reeds from opening/flexing to far not using it can cause reed failure i have seen Reeds brake off because and not close fully and never flip them over thank you for the video idea
Perfect video! Already looking forward to the next part.. Do you know where it is possible to buy a interrotor system for the ts125? This was the first time Ive ever heard such a thing..
Hi Kevin I was really hoping you could clear something up for me I have a 1972 TS 125 and I was wondering where the "marks" are, on the oil injection pump, people talk about. Also do you know what throttle position those marks should line up at?
Kevin, I tried to find someway to message you here on TH-cam, but I guess I can ask here - did you ever make a teardown/rebuild-video on a YZ465 -80/81? Thanks
Ok, about 23:30 weeks were headed to the store to get the correct bolts to split the cases, next thing you’re doing some 2 weedwacker bolt sketch city pull job. What happened?
@@2strokeguru You were using a 3 bolt puller to split the TS125 cases but you had the incorrect bolts. Then you were going to the hardware store but when the video restarted you had 2 bolts and were hitting the opposite side with a hammer. It was tough in the video to see how you had it set up.
@cjack121 yes but was able to split the care in some of my videos I show different ways the bolts where correct thread just needed to be longer next I have a Suzuki 200 cc I will be using the case splitting tool the puller from the this video is a steering wheel puller
@@2strokeguru I got it, so the steering wheel puller should work with the correct bolts. I have the same engine on a project coming up and I also tend to make my pullers do multiple jobs.
@@2strokeguru ive also got a very very very very rare RG 80 lc .i know absoutely nothing about this bike ..but im hopefuly going to get a 90 kit for it somewhere on the planet
