I know that this Remaster got (understandably) criticized for removing some details of the original, but I feel people completely overlooked that they also added some completely new ones, and I'm glad you listed some of them! The Thomas detail has to be one of my favorite ones, but shame you still couldn't save him Hope the game does well, I'd love for a full return of Dead Rising, it's one of my favorite series
To add into the last secret if you combine.. Toy Laser Sword and Real Mega Buster youll get the Real Laser Sword Real Laser Sword and Toy Mega Buster you will get the Real Mega Buster as well. You can use this method to fill your entire inventory with them, when you are supposed to only have 1.
I'm not sure if it's an Easter Egg/Secret but when you take photos of PP signs, if you go into the photo album on the remaster, they all show up very low res as if they were taken on the Xbox 360 version. I'm playing on highest settings and yet they still show up low-res lol. Great vid man 😀
5:40 I'll shit you not, I was watching a livestream of DRDR when the game came out, and when it got to the scene with zombie Brad, rather than shooting him, the player decided to keep Brad's gun and used it on zombie Jessie instead.
Holy shit I can't believe that physics objects interact with people like they do after popping out of boxes. Watch at 0:27 when he breaks the boxes and the baseball bat pops out and hits Bill as it falls to the ground. I don't remember physics objects doing that in the original.
Here’s a tip, don’t wear the bee outfit when the special ops show up because the outfit makes it harder to hit enemies when shooting because the costume obscures part of your view.
Oh my god, I did everything and unlocked all outfits. I played with headphones and this was the worst thing in game. I tried messing with some of the sound settings. But didn't check voice for the panting. Ah I wish I would have known sooner. But TY for the info

Just stay far away from them, listen for their voice lines. They'll let you know if they've spotted you. If you can get in close use the disembowel move as it one shots them.
This game was made with a lot of love and care. These are the types of video games I like to play. Not microtransaction and dlc riddled empty open world games.
Yeah I agree. Really enjoyed the remaster but full remake that dives deeper into things like the True Eye cult and maybe new areas/psychopaths would've been amazing
Whoever voices frank in this remaster just reminds me of jimmy from gta v, I’d have loved to play the remaster but the voice to me just doesn’t match Frank’s and it nags at me. No offence to the v.a I hope it helps put him on the map.
I was really looking forward to this game. I purchased for Xbox Series X and was bitterly disappointed! The voice acting is not as good as the original! Not by far! The game mechanics have been made to compliment the original on the surface, but are way off in reality! You constantly get grabbed when trying to mow down a horde of zombies, constantly. Doesn't matter if it's the best weapon in the game(being the clowns chainsaw), the katana, baseball bat, lead pipe, and it continued no matter what level your character was developed at! The only thing that has a real chance of enjoyment is the the two handed chainsaw, and much better NPC A.I. That's it, that's all there is! Capcom have showed again how they like to upset their customers by ruining a classic. And lets be clear this game was deliberately sabotaged. Not only with the shoddy mechanics, but also the voice overs! That's the world we now live in unfortunately! I saw a review on Steam and he gave it a bad review because he said it was too easy! Yeah! What a silly billy. Probably a paid comment! A real PILE, unfortunately!!! A Real, Real, PILE and I felt ripped off. I was left just wanting to go back and play the original! Horrible! Just horrible!!!
And idk if you played the original but you would also get grabbed a bunch, it seems like you haven’t played dr1 recently and just came to complain the remaster isn’t the exact same as your 12 year old nostalgia remembers
Here's hoping the game did well enough to make Capcom consider giving Dead Rising 2 the same treatment.
