Always use 70: 30 formula for braking. Front brake 70 and rear 30. Front brake reduce momentum and speed faster than rear brakes. And it is efficient formula to stop bike in less distance.

@@rahulsomavanshi8021 can you please do the derivation of 70-30 split?
In a bike with dual channel abs, you can press both rear and front to the max (although not all of a sudden). ABS will keep the braking at the very limit of grip.
And the split figure is not that simple. It depends on the mass distribution of the bike and the coefficient of friction between the road and tyres.

@@yashsvidixit7169 yes you are correct but you dont need press both all sudden always. And in any bike abs non abs bike front brake always work superior to control bike.

First of all for a good braking response from bike you should check following things.
1.tyres should be in good condition with proper air pressure.
    2. Front shock absorber should be in good condition.
    3. Swing arm bush should be tight and lubricated and not worn out as it affects balancing of bike on hard braking.
    4. Rest of the points on braking are bang on in this video.
    Thanks

1st apply front brake then the rear one. 70-80% should be front brake, 20-30% rear brake. And dnt pull the clutch at high speed, instead downshift 1 or 2 gear to increase the engine braking if needed. Never downshift too much it may lock the rear wheel, you need to do the judgements depending on the speed.

Use progressive breaking so it doesn't lock if its non abs. Thats what I was taught by professionals. No offense though, you do what you do as long as everyone get back home safely. ✌

Bro u are right. Dont watch these videos. U will automatically learn by your own experience. The front brakes have more stopping power compared to rear. I personally use front brakes 70% of the time on my rs200. On gear motorcycles or high end motorcycles front brakes are more important than the rear. It comes to how much pressure u put on the brakes. On sports bike front brakes are commonly used 90% of the time as the weight transfers forward which gives u better stopping and stability. While cornering i simply downshift to lower gear by revv match to control the speed while lightly pressing front brakes and sometimes the rear. As my rear brakes are too sharp on RS200. In emergency situations its always recommended to use both the brakes while maintaining the pressure on the levers. While tilting and cutting through the traffic, again front brakes are mostly used as rear brakes have almost no stopping power. As u will hit someone in the traffic if u use the rear brake only. It's important to use your brakes by feel. I have been riding for the last 7 years as i had a pulsar 150 before the RS. And i crashed it because i only used rear brakes as it is very difficult to control the pressure by your feet on the rear brakes during emergency braking. Both brakes are important in different conditions. But if u give me one option. I will opt for the front. As a bike without front brakes is like a black man with a small di*k.

at a lower speed like 40kmph, after pressing brakes when your bike slows down then you can use clutch... but at a high speed like 70,80 kmph, try to slow down your bike by pressing rear and front breaks and also by engine braking, after the bike comes under 40kmph, then press the clutch.

Hi, Same problem with me too I tried both Motul and Oil to lube chain as I found oil is more good than Motul.. But if you use only oil then it will get more dirty so here I am using this method 2 times oil the one motul here is example first 500kms I use oil then another 500kms(total1000kms) I use oil then after 1500 means next 500kms later I use Motul lube and cleaner.. This will do good job..

      @@PraksBikersGuide what oil r u recommending?

    • @sunildutta7665
      @sunildutta7665 2 ปีที่แล้ว

For lube to last long you can use following mixture and apply on chain
90 gear oil 2portion and Castrol grease one portion.apply on chain your chain will not get dry in just 250 kms. This is what was used by RE bike tourers when chain lube spray was not in the market.its cheap and lasts long. Take a little pain to make mixture, u will save on a lot of money and it's equally effective, infact better as it lasts long.

I came across this video randomly.. don't quote me on this, but seems like brother you have been riding splender all while and then switched to Dominor,
let me get couple of facts straight to you:
    1. The method which your are teaching for braking is just perfect for bikes which don't have ABS and are under 150cc and so.
    2. When ever you are at speeds with 100-130+, just remember this combination (Front brake 55%+ engine breaking 40% + rest rear (use rear in the worst condition),
    3. Let me explain it to you why, I am a professional biker so please koi Squid gyan mat dena comment karke, when you have to do breaking in general also, lets say you are doing a hard corner, and you find an obstacle, never fucking downshift, the engine and the rear tyre will get sudden difference in their respective RPMs, apply the front break and very very very light rear break, when you apply the front break in the corner the front shocker tends to dip down which reduces the overall wheel based, and the chances of your fall decrease, it has got to do with centrifugal force, diagonal torque exertion and some basic physics.
    4. Now coming back to a scenario which the owner of this channel has tried to depict, try this once brother- (apply front brake in a limit that ABS doesn't kicks in (30% more harder than what you tend to apply generally), do downshift of 1-2 gears with half clutch (then release it) and very little rear break, your bike will come at a hault very much sooner and safer, don't care about gravel, water and all (if you have decent tyres and ABS). try to keep the handle bar as straight as possible. and body posture stable.
These suggestions are for bikes with bigger capacity engines 200+ CCs with ABS. Try this one and let me know .
