    Hi Simon.
    That is one nice little scope!!! I love your garden/patio/observatory setting. VERY NICE. Great final result. Where do you get your background music? I love it.
    As for me, I have a hurricane approaching so I have taken in the scopes.

    • @SimonsAstro
      @SimonsAstro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks! I made up the ‘box’ with two losmandy plates made by Founder Optics, 13” x 4” separated with two riser blocks 20mm X 60mm X 100mm sold by First Light Optics & Rother Valley Optics
      Hope that helps !

    Hi Simon, I’m going to Keilder in a couple of weeks and am thinking about investing in a Jackery 500. Read some worrying stuff about it powering an EQR6 Pro tho. Have you ever used the Jackery to power yours? Really like your vids btw and share your pain about lack of imaging time this summer!

    • @SimonsAstro
      @SimonsAstro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Andrew
      I can tell you that before I had my observatory, I used my Jackery 500 Explorer battery to power my Esprit 120 rig on the EQ6R Pro with absolutely no problems, it would run it all night and still have 30% power left in the morning!
      I used the Pegasus power box advance to distribute power to the rig, including sending power to the mount, so one lead to the Pegasus upower box from the Jackery, and the Pegasus took care of the rest! Have a great time at Keilder, I was there last year! CS
