Come to think of it, if I had a truck like this, I'd swap the rear seats, keep the other seats by using seat covers, and then I'd do colour-changing LED's for the instrument panel, put in LED bulbs for the exterior lights and signals, add hitches mounted on the front and rear, keep the factory built radio, and have an AUX cassette tape to connect my devices.
Funny that makes 2 of us. After the 3rd day taking all the measurements and design mock up I was ready to give up and say it cant be done. My wife said "There is NO WAY you are going to fit that huge seat back there and have any legroom" I was so vested at that point that I would not let it beat me. Then around the 5th -6th day, magic happened and the rest was history.

I know some for the c2500-c3500 used the GMT400 platform all the way until 2001. If your truck is based on the GMT400 then yes. If you have the NBS style GMT800 design then no.
Anything high-quality, custom and made in the USA is not cheap. The laser cut shapes to CNC form the design takes a lot of steel which results in higher cost per piece compared to some of our other bracket designs. We are currently running a Holiday sale and the crew cab rear is $349.00/set.
This seat has a middle post so you would need to notch the box to clear. Or I had one customer just install the dbl seat side and did a killer sub wall with amps where the single seat would have gone.
Can we the old seats up I have a 1996 and I want to lift the seats up to put subwoofers under them but I haven’t found anything to see if it’s possible
Im very interested in buying these once i find some seats but have a question i have a subwoofer box under the factory seat will it still fit or will brackets stop it from going under seat?? Its 2 12 incr subs in a box that fits under the seat firing down
@@OBSOutpost Carseats have 3 point mounting straps that connects to two metal loops at the bottom of the backrest and one on the back of the seat. But it looks like the bracket you use locks the seats in an upright position
Probably the double cab. It's just an extended cab with standard rear doors instead of suicide doors. Chevy really grayed the area with those trucks but it's basically the same as dodges quad cab, with the half rear doors
Full console & Jump Seat use the same mount. The console is only designed to fit flush against the donor trucks dash and will not fit flush against an OBS dash. You will need to do some modifications to make it look good. I have some pics I can send you on what others have done.

Although I had no intentions of this particular swap. I was very curious on how you were going to pull the rabbit out of the hat.

I have 93 extended cab- but I didn't see the bolts that go straight down on sides. It was only the bolts on that square chrome-ish bar that's there.

push back he side panel, they atre there
They are there, I promise. I had the same question. Some models did use them, but they are there
The brackets you used, will they work on a 94 GMC extended cab?
100% yes
Is there any brackets to install the back seats from a 2022 Tahoe in a 1998 OBS single cab?
Well it work for the 2020?
Would this fit in a obs with a nissan titan rear window setup?
should not be an issue
Do you have a video of how that window swap is done?
Are those back seats able to connect baby car seat?
Is there a 2nd row seat that works with 88-99 suburban?
2015-2020 fit just need to drill new holes to mount
I have a 2000 obs crew cab, how does the rear seat back rest lock in place? What keeps if from folding forward when braking
there are a few different routes you can go, message me direct
Do the newer rear seats have car seat brackets for the straps
not sure what you mean by "straps"?
@@OBSOutpost Carseats have 3 point mounting straps that connects to two metal loops at the bottom of the backrest and one on the back of the seat. But it looks like the bracket you use locks the seats in an upright position
So how is the access to the extended cab with the power front seats? Don’t imagine they dump forward like the Originals

🙈now I gotta find a rear😆
Me too😂
Can they still fold ?
My same questions, but it does not appear so.
Are the rear seats from the small 4 door cab or the big crew cab 4 door or would it wouldn’t make any difference?

could these seats be use for the chevy 1500 (454) 1990 and up?
no, you need front seats
Have you ever considered swapping out for that gen cluster? Seen a few videos out there on it.
I dont understand your question, "swapping out for that gen cluster?
@@OBSOutpost I think Josh means the gauge cluster for that generation of truck

Would that braket work for a 2000 chevy silverado extended cab 3 door?
only for GMT400 trucks
Could I use the center console from the 2014-2018 with these brackets?
I have a full 2014 high country interior from my dads totaled truck and want to put it in my truck I’m working on
100% yes, we sell the bracket for the swap

no, you need front seats
I want to do the full center console will you’re jumpseat bracket work for its bolt holes as well? I have the older style dash.

yes
Did this seat come from an extended cab or a crew cab?
Crew Cab
@@OBSOutpost thank you very much.
So take it you lose the fold up ability?
The seat is static, The back area of an ext cab is way too small to make it flip. Our brackets for the OBS crew cab has full function.
I have the same question but I don’t understand the answer.
How hard is it to wire the front seats?
easy as connecting power and ground
