HARDCORE HIIT PART II - Full Body Workout at Home | 1 HOUR

  • Here we go! Let’s do this! HIIT today is 20 seconds on, 20 seconds off for 1 hour!
    I would like you to think of this before you begin:
    A sprinter who runs 100m at an incredible speed give it their max effort for approx 10 seconds... they need a lot more than 20 seconds rest in order to do this again at the same intensity! Try to think about giving these 20 seconds of work your best so that you earn and need that 20 seconds rest!
    This high intensity full body workout requires only a mat, it is suitable for beginners but also intermediates and advanced as you simply work through each 20 seconds at the intensity and pace that suits you! No matter if you are new to training or advanced, you should aim to really challenge yourself!
    We will repeat each exercise 4 times but it’s only 80 seconds per exercise of work so time will go quick!!
    SQUAT WALK TO JUMP
    WALL SIT ALT LEG EXTENSION
    BURPEE w/ALTERNATING LUNGE JUMPS
    FRONT FOOT HOP LUNGE
    5 HOPS TO PLANK
    180 deg SQUAT JUMP
    KNEELING JUMP
    FWD & BK SQUAT JUMPS
    LATERAL LUNGE TO KNEE TUCK JUMP
    PUSH UPS ROTATION
    TRICEP SKULL CRUSHER
    PLANK UP & DOWN TO TUCK
    PLANK TO HOVER
    CROUCH TO LEAN PLANK
    MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
    RUSSIAN TWISTS
    SIDE PLANK LIFTS
    BICYCLES
    STRAIGHT LEG REACHES
    TABLE TOP SWEEP
    180 deg JUMP BURPEES
    SINGLE LEG BURPEES
    BURPEES!!!
    Try to do as many full range reps as possible for the 20 seconds!!
    Please ensure you fully warm up prior to beginning any workout for at least 5 minutes.
    As always, perform push ups on knees for assistance and if you prefer to not jump, simply perform static lunges, static squats and leave out the jump at top of burpee movement.
    With the leg lowers, either bend at knee or perform alternating leg to reduce lower back strain if needed.

    I’ve tried so many fitness influencers but they just never hit the right spot. Now this workout, when you do it, you can very well tell why Caroline has the body she does, the stamina and the motivation and talent she possesses, I mean, it is just so clear, her workouts are killer, you feel like you’ve worked out, love these girl. I don’t know what would I have done without you

    1 Hour On a Sunday Morning can only mean one thing (Pigtails and Orange) what a workout 💪 👌 Ioved the 4 consecutive sets as it really does add intensity and gives you a really good going for each body part. The hour flew by but I certainly know I have done a workout. 20 secs recovery flies and your back on the mission. Love the Burpees as we had a wee rest from them this week so really banged them out and the one leggers felt much better. Love Sunday HIIT ❤

    Do not underestimate this workout!! Just because the exercise time is the same as the rest time it does not mean that it will be easy, it will be one hour of pain but in the end, you will feel so accomplished!! I found the first and last 20 minutes most challenging as in the middle most of the exercises did not involve any jumping, nevertheless, they were killer!! I definitely recommend this workout if you want to really feel that burn in every single muscle and sweat like crazy!!
    Caroline if you are reading this I want to thank you for giving us all this amazing content for free!! Your workouts are the most effective and difficult workouts that I have ever done!!!

    What a fantastic workout … last Sunday I decided that for the next 3 sundays I would have re-done the 3 hardcore hiits in your library Caroline … superb! Sweat feasts! … so perfectly built … in this one after lowering the hearth rate with a core series towards the end, 3 killer exercises with burpee variations. … my fitness level has improved so much in one year of working out with you. … I could not live anymore without these challenges.     Oh my gosh! I LOVED this! I love extremely intense hiit workouts - this was perfect! I had a feeling when I was getting quite comfortable and rested with the core work that you would throw in some burpees in the end! haha =D THANK YOU!

    Sorry I need to comment again! .... Just finished this (this morning I only previewed it) ....OMG!!!! During the burpee finisher I was delirious started to laugh as crazy while jumping and then when the word “done” appeared on the screen I almost broke in tears. ... fabulous fierce workout ... a killer!

    I did pretty good on my burpees for some reason! Usually I'm pretty slow, but I think I've figure out how to put my feet down so I can comfortably jump back into the plank position. Technically today was supposed to be a rest day, but I feel way more accomplished + consistent if I do something everyday.
    Also, I hate side planks. BLEGH

    Wow!!! I absolutely love your workouts Mrs.Girvan❤️❤️❤️ after having my daughter I gained nearly 30 pounds and lost all my self confidence.. didn’t want to leave the house because I didn’t want anyone to see how much I let myself go. But I’ve been doing your workouts along with some others and Although I still have a long way to go, I’ve gained so much confidence back and it’s because of you!❤️ thank you for these AMAZING workouts.     I have just crushed the workout it was aaaaammaaaziiinnng!!!! At the end I was thinking to do some cardio moves after the abs (4min) as a workout crasher but of course you have already thought about this and added burpees at the end since you are a great trainer!     i had to stop at about 50 min in (I didn't get to do the last 10 min) because I have to do a cooking school project with a poster but I've NEVER done an hour workout. My workouts are either from 30-45 min but this was such a great workout to get my body moving and sweatin. Thank you soooo much.

    Brilliant as usual... I forgot to post my comments following my Sunday training 🥰🥰 Sorry for the delay. Caroline 👋👋, as shared in previous comments, I would like to update on my diet journey following your workouts plus a healthy habits, I lost 5kgs in 28 days (-2.3 kgs on the first 14 days then -2.7 kgs for the following). I have never felt so strong!!

    I procrastinated for a day because of the heat and because I was 😱 scared. But I did it! I can do anything for 20 secs....of course I only for 2 rotating push ups in. But I was able to do the jumping lunges for the first time. So, I’m definitely stronger 💪🏼thank you Caroline, I’m startin this week with confidence. Great music, great sequences and it was wonderful to watch you move light as a feather❣️
    The kneel jump squats tho ...no clue how to do them...any tips appreciated.

      Excellent Kaisen! Practice on a mat for safety. It really is a leap of faith... much like jumping with 2 feet onto a box! Use the arms to assist and it is an explosive action! Cx

    Absolutely amazing again. Only did the leg session yesterday and some of the push up ones and plank combinations ,due to lack of sleep I noticed that was my limit of the day. But will definitely do the whole hour another occasion. But it was already worth it for the half hour that I managed to finish. As I had my rest day Saturday. I will do upper body and core today, making up for the missed part yesterday 😉💪🏼 and off course will do plank challenge today 🔥

    Been doing CG's workouts sine Epic 1, finally had a chance to circle back to this gem. What an incredibly thrilling HIIT session, so many variety and fun moves. Absolutely loved the format, 20s on and 20s off is just perfect! Pushup rotation and 180 jump squats/burpees were new to me and boy they were so much fun, challenging the body in a different plane, just brilliant!

    Will do this today! But thank you in advance for changing your hiit to only rest for 20 seconds, the thirty seconds was a bit to much for me in several workouts. ❤️ your moderate to advanced followers appreciate it!!

    Caroline once again your mastery has made me feel invincible! I crushed the whole thing including burpee blowout! I was at the beach with the fam for a week and skipped 2 days & I actually felt like I was able to crush this even better. Sometimes a few days off is ok I need to remind myself 😄🌊🌊.       Awesome Erin! Yes it is amazing was rest can do!!! And not training for long periods all the time! Sometimes training for 30 minutes intense can accomplish more than 1 hour less intense! 👊🏼💓

      It’s true you’re right! Sometimes I do long training sessions /combined multiple smaller workouts for variety (I love ur 30 min intense ones too! ) & I end up going on 1.5 hr sessions. But it’s really due to enjoying your workouts so much! You and penny barnshaw and ty Clark. But I’ve been on you mostly to be honest. Everyone is so wonderful I feel blessed with all these amazing women to follow!!!! Pandemic hasn’t been all terrible.. it has led to these global fitness communities I am loving! Can’t wait until u start sharing ur nutrition portion 😘😘😘

    I loved this workout! Thought it would be easy since it’s 20 seconds of rest for 20 seconds of work but I was so wrong, perfect to wake me up in the morning before work!

    Great workout. Single leg burpees were a little challenging for me so I did standard ones instead. In the end I am soaked in sweat...which is a wonderful feeling. What is more wonderful? The soreness I'll feel the next day 💪💪👍👍🤩🤩🥰🥰 Lots of love Caroline. You are the best.

    Omg Caroline, I just finished this very hardcore hiit workout,
    🎉Yay I survived it all the way to the end, I thought I was going to be sick on those last burpee, but I pushed myself through to the end 🎉
    I'm so proud of myself as I kept going, did all the moves fast even though like those one leg burpee where hard for me, I just slowed my pace down so I could them
    This, was absolutely amazing one hour hiit workout today ❤️thank you for another great well thought out workout for all of us to enjoy
    You are truly the best Pt ever, I can't thank you enough for all you do for us all
    I actually look forward to exercising with your workouts you post every day.
    you are a true inspiration, such a fun Pt to workout with, as your smile and thumbs help lots when I think I can't do no more I find that burst to carry on.
    I will look forward to another week of working out with you.
    I need to go and cool down after this but I feel totally amazing for my session today as I can feel the improvement in my performs today big time 💪

    When I first read the title 1 hr full body hiit 🔥, I thought i cannot do it but after viewing the exercise, I felt it is my favourite workout literally love the format ❤️🔥 and can't wait to do it 💪.
