White Birch needs barrier practice to keep in touch with the frontrunners early on. Phenomenal run to grab 3rd but it seems he always comes from too far back. Nice prizemoney pickup though. They should set him for the Melbourne Cup in November. Will get in with a light weight and his staying power will see him do well.
Brilliant race to watch and a well deserved winner Auguste Rodin but King of Steel certainly didn’t make it easy with a brilliant ride by Stott, White Birch as coming strong and definitely has a big race win ahead 👍

Some people wouldn't listen it was a bad draw for White Birch. But August was still going to win anyway but it history now. He has had 2 more runs at 1m2f so he was suited by the 1m4f. You would expect August to improve now that was his first run at 1mile4f.. In horseracing or any sport the best improve. It's a bit like Paddington recently improved. If people want to figure has Royal Scotsman reached his peak or was it just a bad run. That's the beauty of trying to win money

Very disappointed that they adjusted the time of the derby without given punters prior notice this race is world event and the stupid actions of the promoters deprive a lot of racing fans including myself of placing a bets plan was to go for the killing on the winner at betting shop, and was deprive of the chance because of the sudden adjustment of the time of the race gentlemen and ladies you need to pull up your stockings and your socks, which ever way.
