Chris Brown beating Rihanna should've been at least an honorable mention. The pictures of Rihanna's bruised face were all over the news and it was the starting point to Chris Brown's endless legal troubles.

I always thought that the Janet Jackson situation was never her fault, it was simply a wardrobe malfunction, but the way media and netizens portrayed her and ripped her apart always made me sick to my stomach

As much as I agree Chris Brown should've been there (I think Amber Heard should've been too), I think the reason why they put Taylor there is because the feud lasted for years and it almost ruined her career (in 2016, I often got death threats just for saying I was on Taylor's side).

Including for prior bad acts (the 2005 trial was failing so bad, the judge allowed 1108 evidence which means the prosecution could bring up prior bad acts, they still couldn't get a guilty verdict lmao) sooo, both the 1993 and 2003 accusations had it's day in court and he was acquitted. So, unless you have proof that it was a mistrial, shut up, please and thank you.

I’m not saying cheating on people is right but the fact that some celebrities risk losing their career over that in my opinion is kinda stupid. I’m sure there are tons of celebs that cheat no idea why only a select few get called out for it at the end of the day what goes on in a relationship should only concern the people in said relationship cheating is bad but it’s not the end of the world.

The Simpsons episode Stark Raving Dad was pulled just for having Michael Jackson's voice in it. Accusations when the pop star was alive didn't get it pulled, but a documentary that came after his death. Guess we better not see anything with Kevin Spacey on Disney Plus. If having Michael's voice in it "taints the entire episode" when he's not even playing Michael Jackson, then dubbing over with another's voice would solve "the problem"

Iirc they said the problem wasn't that MJ played the voice of a character in this episode. They said they believe that MJ used this episode for grooming purposes, that is to normalize adults befriending kids and also to make himself appear as a misunderstood weirdo, who could do no harm, which, at least according to the doc, was far from true. Now, it's debatable whether they did right to remove the episode or not, bc such matters aren't really simple and they touch a great deal of philosophical/sociological questions. I just wanted to point out their explanation for doing so, and to clarify that (at least according to their statements) they didn't do it simply bc MJ starred in it.
@@tg8689 I guess bc they weren't really sure if he did or not, but after the doc they believed the victims and realized his modus operandi and how he manipulated people into believing a certain image he created. Therefore they thought that this episode (to whose script MJ offered some ideas) was used by MJ to cultivate the innocent, misunderstood Peter-Pan image, that enabled him to come close to boys, groom them and sexually abuse them. Again I'm not saying I agree with what they did, I'm still uncertain about that tbh, but at least I want to clarify the reason why they did it, by avoiding misconceptions about their motives.

MJ (despite being uncredited for this episode) used the character in his show to normalize adults befriending children and also to show himself as a harmless weirdo that no one understands him. Michael Jackson visited orphanages in every city he visited in his world tours.... bought gifts for the sick and deprived kids. He never was in bars or got drunk and acted dispicable in any way ever like so many artists do today. He didn't swear or talk crap . He spent every moment in his life giving to others to set an example for us humans....a gift God gave him here on earth through music and being a humantarian . He was so pure so good and so beautiful ♥️ as a human it's so hard to fathom. What people did to him is beyond disgusting 💔 and foul. It makes me sick how he was treated and still is.... He wanted unity peace and love.... and they destroyed him! He wanted Nothing back, it's simply unbelievable.I MISS YOU MICHAEL 💞
