    I work for one of the esl schools you mentioned. I have to say that sometimes the materials provided are really not that good quality, and you still have to supplement them. Or you could use your own materials which takes time to create, and you are not paid for that. There is also an issue of your students' expectations vs the course materials the school provides. So, at $10 an hour it is really not ideal.

    • @ESLTeacher365

    Yeah, there are Chinese versions of these words but don't exactly have the same meaning and usually some with negative connotations.
    Due Process in China is more about what the government can do, then what it cant.

    • @ESLTeacher365

      Native speaker typically means that English is your first language and you are from a country like the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa. Near l-natives come from places like Singapore, Jamaica, India, etc. Most companies will consider you to be a non-native speaker. • @ESLTeacher365
      @ESLTeacher365  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some companies will require a degree, others will require a TEFL and some will require both. The only option that doesn’t require this is Outschool because it’s not an ESL company, but you still need to have relevant experience in your subject area. Your Teachable Moment also doesn’t require this, but they are only offering recorded classes now (no live classes).
